"Youniverse" is a song by Swedish singer Molly Sandén. The song was released in Sweden as a digital download on 28 February 2016, and was written by Sandén along with Danny Saucedo and John Alexis. Molly My Marianne Sandén is a Swedish pop singer and voice actress. As a teenager she represented Sweden in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, and participated in Melodifestivalen in 2009, and as a young adult in 2012 and 2016. Her sisters Frida and Mimmi are also singers. In 2018 Sandén released her third studio album which was her debut in Swedish, Större.
Daniel Gabriel Alessandro Saucedo Grzechowski, known professionally as Danny Saucedo or simply Danny, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as one of the finalists in Idol 2006, the Swedish version of Idol, where he reached the top six.

Lilla Melodifestivalen was the Swedish national final that selects the entry to represent Sweden in the annual Melodi Grand Prix Nordic junior singing competition. Between 2002 and 2005, Sweden sent its winners to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC), when MPG Nordic was not active. In 2006, Sweden withdrew itself from JESC, along with Denmark and Norway, continued to participate in Melodi Grand Prix Nordic instead.
"Alla" is a song by Swedish singer Sofia and was her entrant in Sweden's Eurovision Song Contest selection process Melodifestivalen. The song is sung entirely in Greek and won the international jury vote at the contest, gaining it a spot in the final, where it ended up placing tenth of eleven. The song was released in Sweden and will also be released in Greece, with the possibility of both English and Swedish versions being produced.

Melodifestivalen 2016 was the 56th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen, which selected Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over the six-week period between 6 February and 12 March 2016.
