Yumleima Lamleima is a 2009 Manipuri film written by Seema and H. Subhas Sharma and directed by Homen D' Wai and Seema. [1] [2] [3] The film is produced by Huirem Seema under the banner of Seema Films and presented by Surjakanta. It stars Lairenjam Olen, Huirem Seema and Devita Urikhinbam in the lead roles. Plot

Buddhi is a good-for-nothing bachelor. He luckily stumbled upon a guy's (Nageshore) documents who is applying for a job as MLA's driver. Buddhi deceives the MLA's family by representing himself as Nageshore. However, he honestly performed his duties for the welfare of the family. MLA's daughter Sanahanbi sees this side of Buddhi when his lies are caught. She stands for Buddhi against her family. She went one step ahead and eloped with Buddhi. Successful marriage ceremony and a prosperous journey of the couple followed. But, a few years after the marriage, loopholes start to pop up, finding themselves on the brink of divorce. Finally, Sanahanbi and Buddhi accept their mistakes and come together for a renewed, healthy married life.
