Yunchi, stylized as Yun*chi (born May 29, 1987) [1] is a Japanese singer and fashion model affiliated with Asobi System and Crown Records. She made her debut as a singer in 2012 with the release of her first mini-album Yun*chi. In 2013, she released her first single "Your Song", which was used in the anime series Log Horizon . Her first full album Asterisk was released in 2014. She has also appeared at events in Indonesia and the United Kingdom.

Career

Yunchi aspired to become an entertainer early in life, a dream that was encouraged by her parents. Because of her plans of becoming an entertainer, she thought of moving to Tokyo as a primary school student and auditioning for idol groups. After deciding to become an entertainer later in life, she joined the talent agency Asobi System, the same agency as artist Kyary Pamyu Pamyu who was Yunchi's senior. [1] [2]

Yunchi made her music debut with the mini-album Yun*chi, which was released on November 14, 2012. [3] The album's CD cover was awarded first prize at the 2013 Music Jacket Awards. [4] Her next release was the mini-album Shake you was released on April 17, 2013. [5] This was followed by her first single "Your song", which was released on November 13, 2013; [6] the title track is used as the ending theme to the first season of the anime series Log Horizon . [7]

Yunchi's first full album Asterisk was released on February 5, 2014, [8] and her third mini-album Starlight was released on July 2, 2014. [9] She made her first overseas appearance at Hyper Japan in July 2014, [10] and she made an appearance at an anime event held by the University of Indonesia in August 2014. [11] Her second single "Wonderful Wonder World" was released on October 22, 2014; the title track is used as the ending theme to the second season of Log Horizon. [7] She released a mini-album of anime song covers titled Ani*yun~anime song cover~ on April 15, 2015; the album includes a cover of the song "Catch You Catch Me" by Megumi Hinata, which was originally used as the first opening theme to the anime television series Cardcaptor Sakura . [7] Her third single "Lucky Girl" was released on July 15, 2015; [12] the title track is used as the opening theme to the third season of the anime short Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life . [13] Her second full album Pixie Dust was released on September 9, 2015. [14] Her fourth mini-album Canvas was released on August 2, 2017. [15]

Aki Toyosaki is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer from Tokushima, Tokushima Prefecture. Cardcaptor Sakura, abbreviated as CCS, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by the manga group Clamp. Serialized monthly in the shōjo manga magazine Nakayoshi from May 1996 to June 2000, it was also published in 12 tankōbon volumes by Kodansha between November 1996 and July 2000. The story centers on Sakura Kinomoto, an elementary school student who discovers magical powers after accidentally freeing a set of magical cards into the world; she must retrieve the cards to prevent catastrophe. Each of these cards grants different magical powers, and can only be activated by someone with inherent magical abilities. A sequel by Clamp, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, focusing on Sakura in junior high school, began serialization in Nakayoshi in 2016.

Maon Kurosaki is a Japanese singer and songwriter signed to NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan. After being discovered while working as a performer in Akihabara, Tokyo, she made her major debut in 2010, performing ending themes to the anime television series Highschool of the Dead. She released her debut album H.O.T.D. in September 2010, which features the ending themes from Highschool of the Dead. Her first two singles were used as ending themes to the anime television series A Certain Magical Index II.

Nagi Yanagi is a Japanese singer and songwriter from Osaka Prefecture who is signed to NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan. After becoming interested in music early in life, she began singing and writing original songs. In 2006, she began uploading her music to Niconico and other websites. Between 2009 and 2011, Yanagi was the guest vocalist of the J-pop band Supercell. Yanagi released her solo debut single "Vidro Moyō" in February 2012, which is used as the ending theme to the anime Waiting in the Summer.

Tempura Kidz Japanese musical group

Tempura Kidz is a Japanese pop dance and vocals group formed by four girls and one boy managed by Asobi System and signed with the Sony Music Japan label. They started their career as back-up dancers for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and have toured with her since late 2011. Their songs are produced by Ram Rider. The group debuted on November 13, 2012 with the music video for their first song "Cider Cider", which was produced by Ram Rider. In January 2013, they released their first digital single "Strobe", used as ending theme song for the anime Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter. Two months later, on March 6, Tempura Kidz made their physical debut with the release of their first single "One Step" produced by Nishi-ken. On March 26, 2018, member NaNaHo graduated from Tempura Kidz. Tempura Kidz continued to perform as a four-person group until the graduation of Yu-Ka, Pi-chan and Ao in March 2021.

Rie Murakawa is a Japanese voice actress, singer and radio personality from Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She is currently affiliated with Stay Luck. She is known for her roles as Hotaru Ichijō in Non Non Biyori, Escha Malier in Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, Ram in Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World and Anzu in Hinamatsuri.

Band-Maid Japanese five-piece female hard rock band

Band-Maid is a Japanese rock band formed in 2013. The band combines a rock sound with a maid image modeled on Japanese maid cafés. Originally signed to Gump Records, they switched to major label Nippon Crown's sub-label Crown Stones in 2016 and later moved to new sub-label Revolver Records in 2019. The band's albums have been released internationally through JPU Records since 2016. In late 2020, the band left Revolver Records and signed with Pony Canyon.

Raychell is a Japanese singer, actress and voice actress who is affiliated with Ace Crew Entertainment. She made her major debut as a singer in 2010 under the name Lay. In 2019, she made her voice acting debut as the character Rei "LAYER" Wakana in the multimedia franchise BanG Dream!, and later was cast as the character Shano Himegami in D4DJ. She is also a member of the visual kei band Shazna.
