Z1 Boat is a brand of luxury yacht tender manufactured in the United States. Most notably, the 23 foot sportsboat, with a V-hull design made of fiberglass or Carbon / Kevlar laminate schedule, with an inboard motor, foot controls, and side steering console. The speedboats are manufactured by Z1 Boats, Inc.

Purposes

It is used for sport fishing, water skiing, as a runabout, as a tender on luxury yachts and as a high performance sport boat.

Manufacturing

Z1 boats were originally manufactured in Florida. The boats are equipped with very powerful Mercury Marine engines, and Bravo series sterndrive.

Current models

The current production model is the twenty-three foot, Luxury yacht tender, winner of the 2003 Miami International Boat Show sexiest boat award. [2]

Barefoot skiing is water skiing behind a motorboat without the use of water skis, commonly referred to as "barefooting". Barefooting requires the skier to travel at higher speeds than conventional water skiing (30-45mph/50-70km/h). The necessary speed required to keep the skier upright varies by the weight of the barefooter and can be approximated by the following formula: + 20, where W is the skier's weight in pounds and the result is in miles per hour. It is an act performed in show skiing, and on its own.

Yacht tender

A yacht tender is a vessel used for servicing and providing support and entertainment to a private or charter yacht. They include utilitarian craft, powered by oar or outboard motor, and high-speed luxury craft, supporting superyachts, powered by inboard engines, some using water-jets. Some superyachts have a support vessel that follows them with bulky items that are not conveniently stowed aboard the main yacht, such as a helicopter, automobile or larger watercraft.

Mutineer 15

The Mutineer 15 is a 15-foot (4.6 m) long fractional sloop sailboat currently manufactured by Nickels Boat Works. It has a dinghy centerboard hull, no ballast, and displaces 410 pounds. The Mutineer 15 has a 6-foot (1.8 m) beam, maximum draw of 4.08 feet (1.24 m), and has 150 square feet (14 m2) of sail area. The Mutineer 15 is commonly used for both day sailing and class racing. The Mutineer 15 can be comfortably sailed as a day sailer with a crew of four, but can also be raced with a crew of two, or even single-handed by semi-experienced to experienced sailors.

Harken, Inc. is an international manufacturer specializing in performance sailing hardware and industrial solutions, headquartered in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, United States. The company was founded in a 60-foot trailer in 1967 by brothers Peter Harken and Olaf Harken. Originally, the brothers manufactured sailboats under the name Vanguard and kept the hardware business separate so they could sell to competing boatbuilders. Gary Comer, founder of Lands' End clothing company, advised and helped them distribute their first blocks by placing them in the Lands' End catalogue.

Ferretti S.p.A. is an Italian multinational shipbuilding company headquartered in Forlì which specialises in the design, construction and sale of luxury motor yachts. Its products are sold under the brands Ferretti Yachts, Custom Line, Pershing, Itama, Riva, Mochi Craft and CRN.

Bonnier Corporation is an American magazine publisher owned by the Swedish Bonnier Group. It was formed in March 2007 by the merger of World Publications, Time4 Media, and The Parenting Group. It publishes seven special-interest magazines and is based in Winter Park, Florida. Gas Engine & Power Company & Charles L. Seabury Company was a ship building firm located in the Bronx, New York. It was formed in 1896 from the merger of the Charles L. Seabury Company, founded in 1885 in Nyack, New York, and the Gas Engine & Power Company, founded about the same time in Morris Heights, Bronx. Seabury was famous for its steam yachts and Gas Engine & Power Company primary focus was in naptha-powered launches.

Benetti Fisker 50

The Benetti Fisker 50 is a 50-meter (164-foot) superyacht concept designed by Henrik Fisker in California, to be built by Italian boat building company Benetti in Livorno. Fisker and Benetti announced a partnership in 2015 to design and build a series of superyachts and revealed the design at the 2016 Singapore Yacht Show.
