Zvukovaya Dorozhka (Russian : Звуковая Дорожка, "sound track") is Russia's oldest hit parade in the field of popular music. [1] It was founded in 1975 and has been published monthly in Moskovskij Komsomolets since 1977. It features both Russian and international acts. Since 2003 it is presented in a ceremony in concert halls. It's considered one of the major Russian music awards. [2] [3]

History

The founder and first parade presenter was Yu. V. Filonov, who created its first issue in the fall of 1975. The column informed the audience about the existing Soviet performers and some foreign stars, usually from socialist countries. [4] The first award ceremony based on readership polls was held in January 2003.

Fabrika Zvyozd, sometimes known internationally as Star Factory, is a popular Russian television talent show that aired on Channel One from 2002 until 2007. It was the Russian version of the Endemol format Operación Triunfo. In 2011, the show announced that it would be returning with an eighth, All-Star season and in 2012 for the ninth season with the format Star Factory: Russia vs. Ukraine. The programme then went on a hiatus for five years before relaunching the tenth season in 2017 broadcast on Muz-TV. Nine out of the ten season were hosted by Yana Churikova and one by Ksenia Sobchak.

Dima Bilan Russian actor and singer-songwriter

Dima Nikolayevich Bilan is a Russian singer, songwriter, and actor. He represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with "Never Let You Go", finishing second, and he won the contest in 2008 in Belgrade, with the song "Believe". He has had several Russian number one hit records. He is sometimes referred to as "Russia's Iglesias" due to his similarity to the Spanish singer.

Sergey Lazarev Russian singer and stage actor

Sergey Vyacheslavovich Lazarev is a Russian singer, dancer and actor. He is most famous for his singing career, when he rose to fame as a member of the group Smash!!. The group broke up in 2006. Since then Lazarev has pursued a solo career. He represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden, and finished in third place, coming first in the televote. He represented Russia again at Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel with the song "Scream", and similarly finished in third place.

Valeriya is a stage name of Alla Yurievna Perfilova, a Russian singer and fashion model. Muz-TV Russian TV channel and website

Muz-TV is a Russian music TV channel, broadcasting since 1996. It is largely modelled after western MTV and predates launching of MTV Russia in 1998. Muz-TV was founded by Sergey Lisovskiy. The general director of Muz-TV is Arman Davletarov. Today Muz-TV is owned by UTH Russia, which is, in turn, 49% owned by mtv.

TopHit Russian and Ukrainian music charts

TopHit is an internet service for musicians founded in 2003. Originating from Ukraine and Russia, it now works on global scale. It offers a variety of functions, main of them regular statistical music charts based on data from radio broadcasts and musical internet services such as YouTube and Spotify. Musicians are able to upload their songs and promote them via TopHit. The songs from Russian and worldwide singers become aggregated, tested, distributed and rotated on radio using TopHit's capabilities. Promotion of music videos is also available, as well as donations collecting system for supporting artists. Permanent users and partners of TopHit include over 5700 musicians, music groups, DJs and tens of record labels, including Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, BMG, Black Star Inc., Velvet Music and others.
