The Zeitschrift für die Neutestamentliche Wissenschaft und die Kunde der älteren Kirche (English: Journal for New Testament Studies and the Ancient Church) is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal that was established in 1900. It is published by Walter de Gruyter. The focus of the journal is the historical investigation of early Christianity, especially on the New Testament and nascent Christianity through to the Patristic period. The current editor-in-chief is Michael Wolter. Articles are in German, English, or French.

The Minor Prophets or Twelve Prophets, occasionally Book of the Twelve, is the last book of the Nevi'im, the second main division of the Jewish Tanakh. The collection is broken up to form twelve individual books in the Christian Old Testament, one for each of the prophets. The terms "minor prophets" and "twelve prophets" can also refer to the twelve traditional authors of these works.

John Christopher Thomas is a theologian within the Pentecostal movement and the Clarence J. Abbott Professor of Biblical Studies at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary.
John Barton is a British Anglican priest and Biblical scholar. From 1991 to 2014, he was the Oriel and Laing Professor of the Interpretation of Holy Scripture at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Oriel College. In addition to his academic career, he has been an ordained and serving priest in the Church of England since 1973. His research interests and extensive publications have been in the areas of the Old Testament prophets, the biblical canon, biblical interpretation, and Old Testament theology. From 2010 to 2013, he researched Ethics in Ancient Israel, having been funded by a Leverhulme Trust Major Research Fellowship. Barton is a foreign member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters and has been a Fellow of the British Academy since 2007. As of 2013, he continued to assist in services and other activities in the parish of Abingdon, in which he resides.

Before joining Cedarville in 2015, Shepherd held the John and Allie Fogleman Assistant Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana, as well as professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at the Caskey School of Divinity.
Monatsschrift für die Geschichte und Wissenschaft des Judenthums is a monthly journal devoted to the science of Judaism. It was founded by Zecharias Frankel in Dresden in 1851, following the suppression of Zeitschrift für die Religiösen Interessen des Judenthums in 1846. It was published in Germany for 83 years between 1851 and 1939 In time, it became the leading journal in the Jewish world.
Christopher R. Seitz is an American Old Testament scholar and theologian known for his work in biblical interpretation and theological hermeneutics. He is the senior research professor of biblical interpretation at Toronto School of Theology, Wycliffe College. He is also an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church, and served as canon theologian in the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas (2008-2015).
