Zenith is the sixth studio album by Swedish singer-songwriter Molly Nilsson, released on 6 November 2015.
Nilsson considered several titles for the album before eventually settling on Zenith. Regarding the title, she stated: "I like [the album] as a peak, but not in the sense that whatever comes before or after is not a peak – I wanted it to be like an eternal peak." [1]
Nilsson had finished one iteration of the album in January 2015, but after a two-month holiday, she realized that she "had to make a new album". She then finished the second and final version of the album in June 2015, explaining that she "needed that sunlight in the album". Nilsson estimates that the final version is "probably 75% new". [1]
Regarding the equipment used for the album's production, Nilsson stated: "The keyboard I made Zenith with, I found on eBay, costs 25 euros and is really shitty. [...] It took me a while until I got to know it and then I figured out how to make the best of it." [2]
Zenith was released on vinyl, CD, and as a digital download on 6 November 2015. It was originally scheduled to be released on 25 September 2015, but it was delayed.

Zenith received positive reviews. Tim Sendra, writing for AllMusic, called Zenith a "landmark album" and "not too far from [genius]", while noting its wider appeal when compared with previous albums. [9] [3] Finnán Tobin, in his review for TN2 Magazine, stated that the album "feels so heartfelt that one cannot help but be enamoured" and pointed out the song "Bunny Club" as the "definite album highlight". He further noted the "juxtaposition" of the "somewhat upbeat" music and Nilsson's "world-weary lyricism". [8]
Joe Goggins of Loud and Quiet called Zenith "a pleasingly cohesive piece of work", but criticized that it "feels a little bit less adventurous than what we’ve grown accustomed to from Nilsson". [5] Jonas Kiss, writing for Austrian magazine Skug, praised the song "1995", but criticized the album's production for being "too smooth" in comparison with Nilsson's prior works. [10]

Susanna Lee Hoffs is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She, Debbi Peterson, and Vicki Peterson founded the Bangles in 1981. Their debut album, All Over the Place, (1984) was acclaimed by critics but sold poorly. Their second album, Different Light, (1986) was also warmly received by critics and was certified double-platinum in 1987 and triple-platinum in 1994. It contained the US number two single "Manic Monday" written by Prince and the number one single "Walk Like an Egyptian". The group's third album, Everything (1988), included the US top ten charting "In Your Room" and number one "Eternal Flame", both written by Hoffs with Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly. Hoffs was lead vocalist on five of the seven Columbia singles by the Bangles, which contributed to a public perception that she was a lead singer, even though all four members took lead vocals across their output. Following tensions including resentment at Hoffs's perceived leadership and the stress of touring, the band split in 1989. It reformed in 1999 and released the albums Doll Revolution (2003) and Sweetheart of the Sun (2011).
All I Really Want to Do is the debut solo studio album by American singer-actress Cher and was released on August 16, 1965, by Imperial Records. The album was produced for Cher by her then husband and singing partner, Sonny Bono, with contributions from arranger Harold Battiste. The album is by-and-large a collection of cover versions but does contain three songs written by Bono. In 1992, All I Really Want to Do and Cher's follow-up solo album, The Sonny Side of Chér, were reissued on one CD by EMI Records. Later, in 1995, EMI released a collection titled The Originals, which included All I Really Want to Do, The Sonny Side of Chér, and Cher's third solo album, Chér. The album was again reissued on one CD with The Sonny Side of Chér by BGO Records in 2005 in the UK only. The original twelve track All I Really Want to Do album has never been issued on Compact Disc on its own. Upon its release, the album was well received by critics and garnered positive reviews.

"No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" is featured on episode eight, season one of The Vampire Diaries. "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" was given a notable cover version by Miss Li.
