Zenith Sangma is the former member of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Rangsakona constituency. He won the election in 2003,2013, [3] and 2018. [4] [5] Sangma was the Sports Minister of the Meghalaya Government for the period from 2013 to 2018. [6] He is the brother of former Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mukul Sangma. [7]

The Hill State People's Democratic Party (HSPDP) is a regional political party active in the state of Meghalaya,northeast India. The Second Mukul Sangma ministry was the council of ministers of the state of Meghalaya headed by Chief Minister Mukul Sangma. The ministry was formed on 5 March 2013 following the re-election of the Indian National Congress under the leadership of chief minister Mukul Sangma in the state assembly election. The ministry remained in effect until its dissolution on 6 March 2018 following the party's defeat in the 2018 election.
