Zia Gurchani is a Pakistani television actor and writer. [1] He used to host a children's programme from Radio Pakistan in the early 2000s. Zia was introduced to the showbiz industry by journalist Zafar Samdani. [1] His television appearances include Aangan [1] (2017), Yaqeen Ka Safar [2] (2017), Alif Allah Aur Insaan [1] (2017–18), Mah-e-Tamaam [1] (2018), Nibah [1] (2018), Romeo Weds Heer [3] (2018–19), Dil Kiya Karey [4] (2019–present).

Personal life

Gurchani is from Quetta, Balochistan. He is the brother of veteran actor Jahanzeb Gurchani who appeared in PTV Home's classic Urdu serials in the 1990s. [5] [6]

Yaqeen Ka Safar is a Pakistani television drama series produced by Momina Duraid through MD Productions for Hum TV. It aired from 19 April 2017 to 1 November 2017, with a total of 29 episodes. It was written by Farhat Ishtiaq, based on Ishtiaq's novel Woh Yakeen Ka Naya Safar and was directed by Shahzad Kashmiri.

<i>Romeo Weds Heer</i> Pakistani tv series

Romeo Weds Heer is a 2018 Pakistani drama serial, directed by Anjum Shahzad, written by Muhammad Younis Butt and produced by 7th Sky Productions. It stars Feroze Khan and Sana Javed in lead roles. The show was originally aired in single episodes on Sunday evenings, but towards the end of its run, it began to run episodes in a mega-episode format because of low ratings on Sunday evenings. It premiered on 21 October 2018 on Geo Entertainment. The series ended on 26 May 2019.

Dil Kiya Karay is a 2019 Pakistani television series directed by Mehreen Jabbar, produced by 7th Sky Entertainment and written by Asma Nabeel of Khaani fame. The series features Feroze Khan and Yumna Zaidi in lead roles.
