Ziad Richa (born September 25, 1967) is a Lebanese skeet shooter who has represented his nation at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he finished twenty-ninth out of forty-one shooters in the men's skeet event. [1] Richa was also the flag bearer at the opening ceremony. [1]

Richa served as the secretary general of the Lebanese Shooting Association. [2]

Shooting at the 2000 Summer Olympics – Mens skeet Sports shooting at the Olympics

The men's skeet shooting competition at the 2000 Summer Olympics was the last shooting event of the Sydney Games, held on 22 and 23 September. Mykola Milchev of Ukraine became the first shooter to hit all 150 targets at an Olympic competition in skeet.

Skeet was one of the thirteen shooting events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. It was the last Olympic skeet competition open to both men and women, and the only mixed shooting competition at the Olympics ever won by a woman: Zhang Shan. The competition consisted of a qualification round of 150 targets, a semifinal of 50 targets for the top 24 competitors, and a final of 25 targets for the top six. Hitting all 200 targets of the preliminary rounds, and 23 in the final, Zhang won ahead of four male shooters at 222. With José María Colorado eliminated due to lower final score, a three-way shoot-off between Juan Giha, Bruno Rossetti and Ioan Toman determined the silver and bronze medals, going to Giha and Rossetti respectively. The event was held on 28 July at the Mollet del Vallès Shooting Range.

Hamad represented Qatar at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed in the men's skeet shooting, along with four-time Olympian Nasser Al-Attiyah. He competed in the mixed skeet shooting at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, and at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and men's skeet at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Twelve years after competing in his last Olympics, Toman qualified for his fourth Romanian team as a 49-year-old at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by winning the silver medal from the 2007 World Shotgun Championships in Nicosia, Cyprus. He placed thirty-fifth out of forty-one shooters in the two-day qualifying rounds of men's skeet, with a total hit of 108 targets.

Zaid Al-Mutairi is a Kuwaiti sport shooter. He won a silver medal, as a member of the Kuwaiti shooting team, at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. He also captured two more medals for skeet shooting at the ISSF World Cup circuit.

Diego Duarte Delgado is a Colombian sport shooter. He won the World Championships in Skeet Men at Lonato World Cup 2003, defeating Eric Wandtdal and olympic Silver Medallist Tore Brovold, Diego also is holder of the Panamerican Record with 149/150, He won a bronze medal in men's skeet shooting at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with a total score of 148 points.

Jorge Nicolás Atalah Moya is a Chilean sport shooter. He won a silver medal in men's skeet shooting at the 2004 ISSF World Cup in Americana, São Paulo, Brazil, with a total score of 147 points. Atalah is also the son of Nicolas Atalah, who competed in the same event at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, Mexico.

Nathalie Linda Larsson is a Swedish sport shooter. She won two gold medals in the women's skeet at the 2005 European Shooting Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, and at the 2009 European Shooting Championships in Osijek, Croatia, accumulating scores of 92 and 93 targets, respectively.
