ZieherSmith is a New York City contemporary art gallery run by Andrea Smith Zieher and Scott Zieher. [1]

Gallery exhibitions have been widely reviewed, including shows by artists Tucker Nichols, [2] Rachel Owens, [3] Rachel Rossin, [4] Christoph Ruckäberle, [5] Allison Schulnik, [6] Lauren Silva, [7] Paul Anthony Smith, [8] and Mike Womack. [9] From 2014 to 2016, the gallery conducted business as Zieher Smith & Horton during a temporary collaboration with Horton Gallery. [10] The gallery was among the first to show several notable artists including Eddie Martinez, [11] Corin Sworn, [12] and Wes Lang. [13]

Eddie Martinez (artist) American visual artist

Eddie Martinez is a New York-based artist best known for large-scale paintings that feature bold color, urgent line and brushwork, and graphic shapes and forms. His style combines painting and drawing, abstraction and representation, and a casual approach to materials with an eclectic iconography of figurative elements. While contemporary in his choice of materials and subjects, he bridges a wide range of historical influences, including CoBrA, Action painting, neo-expressionism and Philip Guston, and classical conventions of portraiture, still life and allegorical narrative, filtered through the lens of daily experience and popular culture.

Allison Schulnik is an American painter, sculptor and animated film maker. She is known for her heavily textured, impasto oil paintings and her animated short videos. Schulnik lives and works in Sky Valley, California.
