The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Maria Skobtsova, known as Mother Maria, Saint Mary of Paris, born Elizaveta Yurievna Pilenko, Kuzmina-Karavayeva (Кузьмина-Караваева) by her first marriage, Skobtsova (Скобцова) by her second marriage, was a Russian noblewoman, poet, nun, and member of the French Resistance during World War II. She has been canonized a saint in the Eastern Orthodox Church.

Cape Verde competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Their participation marked their fourth Olympic appearance. Two Cape Verdeans competed in the Olympic games: Nelson Cruz participated as a marathon runner, and Wania Monteiro participated in gymnastics. Reema Kagti is an Indian film director and screenwriter, who works in Hindi film industry. She made her debut as a director in the critically acclaimed Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (2007), which was followed by the neo-noir, Talaash (2012) and the historical sports drama Gold (2018). Reema along with Zoya Akhtar founded Tiger Baby Films, a film and web studio, in October 2015.
Zoya Blyuvas is a former diver. Blyuvas competed for the Soviet Union in the 3 meter springboard at the 1956 Summer Olympics and finished in 11th place.
Zoya Dus is a Ukrainian former freestyle swimmer. She competed in two events at the 1968 Summer Olympics for the Soviet Union.
Zoya Fyodorovna Yusova is a former Soviet volleyball player. She won a silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
