Zubair Hasan is an Indian economist specialising in Islamic Economics.

Hasan did his undergraduate and PhD at Meerut College in Uttar Pradesh in (1973). He started his teaching career at Meerut College (1957) and retired as Professor Emeritus from INCEIF, The Global University of Islamic Finance Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2015). [1] [2]

Hasan was recipient of the IsDB Prize (Islamic Economics) 2009 [3] the OIC COMCEC AWARD 2014 [4] for contribution to Islamic economics and Finance. In addition he has been associated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Urdu University, Hyderabad, India, a central government institution of the country as a visiting Professor of Islamic Finance. He has served as Head of Department at Post-graduate Vardhaman College Bijnor (Agra University), Reader-Head at Zakir Hussain Delhi College. He also served as chairman of the Economics Department at the IIUM, Malaysia. Zubair was sent in 1981 on deputation by Government of India to BasraUniversity/Technical Institute, Amarah, Iraq. [5]

On retirement, He donated his collection of materials to the INCEIF Library as a distinct collection, the Zubair Hasan Library. [6] He continues his association as Professor Emeritus of Economics and Finance with INCEIF. [7] [8]

Hasan is the son of the Maulvi Mohammad Majeed Hasan, who established the Madina newspaper (1912-1975). [9] [10]

Asyraf Wajdi bin Dusuki is a Malaysian politician who has served as Chairman of the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) since March 2023. He served as Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Islamic Affairs in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Najib Razak and former Minister Jamil Khir Baharom from July 2015 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018 as well as a Senator from May 2014 to his resignation in April 2018. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition. He has also served as the Secretary-General of UMNO since March 2023 and also served as the 14th Youth Chief of UMNO from June 2018 to March 2023.

Amir Hossein Zekrgoo is an Iranian artist, art historian and Indologist. He has been professor of Islamic and Oriental arts at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC) from 2001 to 2016. He was awarded Ikuo Hirayama Silk Roads Fellowship by UNESCO.

Dr. Shariq Nisar is an Indian finance professional, academic and activist. He received PhD in economics from Aligarh Muslim University, one of the oldest universities in India. He co-founded TASIS, a shariah advisory institution, related to finance, based in Mumbai, that screens stocks for Shariah compliance. His first major work was the launch of India's first Shariah Index in association with the Bombay Stock Exchange. Later on he worked with the National Stock Exchange to launch Shariah index for them. He is advisor to Kerala Government's Islamic Finance venture Cheraman Financial Services Ltd. He also helped Government of India owned General Insurance Corporation of India establish its Retakaful division in 2009. During 2013 and 2014, he served as a senior visiting fellow at Harvard Law School. He was invited to share his views before the Select Committee of Indian Parliament on the Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill (2015). He served as a non-executive independent director at Octaware Technologies from November, 2015 to December 2018, India's first shariah compliant publicly listed company. Dr. Nisar has also authored various books in the area of Islamic Finance with International as well as Indian perspectives. He has been awarded Bharat Inclusion Research Fellowship 2020. Since 2017, he teaches a course at the University of Luxembourg.

This bibliography of Ashraf Ali Thanwi is a selected list of generally available scholarly resources related to Ashraf Ali Thanwi, a leading Islamic scholar, philosopher, writer, preacher, reformer, the author of about one thousands books. He didn't write an autobiography during his lifetime. However, Aziz al-Hasan Ghouri, an authorized disciple of Thanwi, compiled a book from 1935 to 1943, into four volumes entitled Ashraf al-Sawaneh, which is the first and most important book and prime source on the biography of Thanwi. Another Maqalat Hakeemul Ummat was compiled in 34 volumes under the supervision of Taqi Usmani, collected from about 350 publications of Thanwi. This list will include his biographies, theses written on him and articles published about him in various journals, newspapers, encyclopedias, seminars, websites etc. in APA style.

Zulkifli bin Hasan is a Malaysian academic who serves as Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Religious Affairs in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Mohd Na'im Mokhtar as well as a Senator since December 2023. He was the academician (Professor) of the Syariah programme at the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) as well as the deputy rector at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He is presently the sole independent deputy minister.
