Adelaide 500

The 2006 V8 Supercar Championship Series was an Australian based motor racing competition for V8 Supercars. It began on 25 March 2006 in Adelaide and ended on 10 December 2006 at Phillip Island after 13 rounds. The 2006 Championship was the eighth V8 Supercar Championship Series.

1999 Sensational Adelaide 500

The 1999 Sensational Adelaide 500 was the first running of the Adelaide 500 race, the first motor racing meeting held on the Adelaide Street Circuit since the 1995 Australian Grand Prix. Racing at the Mount Panorama Circuit notwithstanding, it was the first domestic racing meeting held on public roads since the closure of the Longford Circuit in Tasmania in the 1960s.

It was the first round of the 2013 International V8 Supercars Championship, and marked the racing debuts of the Holden VF Commodore, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, and Nissan Altima L33, all of which were entered in the series under the brand-new "Car of the Future" regulations; Ford continued to use the FG Falcon model raced in previous years, but built to Car of the Future specifications.

The 2018 Adelaide 500 was a motor racing event held on the weekend of 2 to 4 March 2018 at the Adelaide Street Circuit in Adelaide, South Australia. It marked the twentieth running of the Adelaide 500 and was the first event of sixteen in the 2018 Supercars Championship. It comprised two races of 250 kilometres. The Supercar races were supported by the opening round of the 2018 Super2 Series, a series for older model Supercars. It was also the inaugural round of the new SuperUtes Series.
