The 2024 IIHF World Championship Division I was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. [1]

Contents

The Group A tournament was held in Bolzano, Italy from 28 April to 4 May and the Group B tournament in Vilnius, Lithuania from 27 April to 3 May 2024. [2] [3]

In Group A, Hungary and Slovenia gained promotion to the top division and South Korea was relegated. Ukraine won Group B and was promoted, while the Netherlands were relegated to Division II. [4]
