The 24th BET Awards will take place on June 30, 2024, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, to celebrate achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies. [1] [2] It will be hosted for the third time by actress Taraji P. Henson. [3]

The nominations were announced on May 16. [4] Canadian rapper Drake received the most nominations with seven, followed by Nicki Minaj with six, J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA, Victoria Monét, and Beyoncé with five each, and 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, and Usher all with four. [5] [6]

On May 30, it was announced that R&B singer Usher will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. [7]

The BET Award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist is an award given to honor the outstanding achievements female artists have made in hip hop every year. The all-time winner in this category is Nicki Minaj with seven wins, she is also the most nominated artist with fourteen nominations.

The 2010 Soul Train Music Awards were held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia on November 28, 2010. The show was hosted by Oscar nominated actor Terrence Howard and Oscar nominated actress Taraji P. Henson. Performers included El DeBarge, R.
