Feluda, or Prodosh Chandra Mitra [Mitter], is a fictional detective, private investigator created by Indian director and writer Satyajit Ray. Feluda resides at 21 Rajani Sen Road, Ballygunge, Calcutta, West Bengal. On account of Rabindranath Tagore's 157th birthday, Star Jalsha added Gaaner Oparey on Disney+ Hotstar on 9 May 2018. It was re-aired on Star Jalsha during the 2020 lockdown period, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gaurav Chakrabarty is an Indian Bengali film and television actor best known for his portrayal of the character Prodipto Lahiri in the Bengali musical TV series Gaaner Oparey that aired on Star Jalsha from 28 June 2010 to 16 April 2011. Chakrabarty is also known for acting in the Bengali classic periodic thriller TV series Byomkesh (2014-2015), where he played the role of iconic Bengali detective Byomkesh Bakshi. He hails from a family which has had a legacy of association with the Bengali cultural arena, starting from Jochhon Dastidar and Chandra Dastidar, Bijon Bhattacharya, Jagadish Chandra Chakrabarty & Monika Chakrabarty, and his parents Sabyasachi Chakrabarty & Mithu Chakrabarty. He debuted on the big screen Kaushik Ganguly's Rang Milanti one of the most appreciated films of the year 2011.
Romeo is a 2011 Bengali romantic comedy-drama film directed by Sujit Mondol and starring Dev and Subhashree Ganguly in lead roles with Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Laboni Sarkar, Kaushik Banerjee in supporting roles, whilst the music was scored by critically acclaimed Jeet Ganguly. Arjun – Kalimpong E Sitaharan is a 2013 thriller Bengali film directed by Prem Prakash Modi and produced by Mukul Sarkar under the banner of T. Sarkar Productions. The film features actors Om and Sabyasachi Chakraborty in the lead roles. This action and thriller marks the debut of young Bengali actor Om in the role of detective Arjun. Based on Sitaharan Rahasya and Khunkharapi by Samaresh Majumdar, the film was released on 3 May 2013.
Byomkesh was a 2014 Indian Bengali crime fiction television series based on the Bengali sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The series starred Gaurav Chakrabarty, Saugata Bandyopadhyay and Ridhima Ghosh as Byomkesh Bakshi, Ajit and Satyabati respectively. The series premiered on 20 November 2014 on Colors Bangla channel and ended on 14 November 2015. The first episode was narrated by Sabyasachi Chakrabarty.

Goyenda Ginni was an Indian Bengali crime drama anthology television series that premiered on 7 September 2015 to 25 December 2016 and aired on Zee Bangla. It was produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, it starred Indrani Haldar, Saheb Chatterjee, Aditi Chatterjee and Indrajeet Bose. It marks the comeback of Haldar into Bengali television. It replaced the show Raage Anuraage. It got back in March 2020 due to COVID-19 situation.
Aschhe Abar Shabor is a 2018 Indian Bengali-language crime thriller film directed by Arindam Sil. It is the sequel to 2016 film Eagoler Chokh and the third installment in the Goenda Shabor film series. The film released on 19 January 2018. It is based on Prajapatir Mrityu O Punorjanmo, a story written by Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay.
Netaji is a Bengali biographical soap opera on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose that premiered on 14 January 2019 and aired on Bengali GEC Zee Bangla. Based majorly on Udyata Kharga Subhash by Achintya Kumar Sengupta and produced by Surinder Films, the series stars Abhishek Bose in the eponymous role, with Basabdatta Chatterjee, marking her comeback on television, Dhruvajyoti Sarkar, Kaushik Chakraborty, Sriparna Roy, Debopriyo Sarkar, Sohan Bandopadhyay, Fahim Mirza appearing in other recurring roles. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting of the series was stalled. It was rumoured that along with Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni, this series will be axed the channel. Putting rest to such rumours, the shooting started from June 11 and new episodes started to air from June 15, 2020.
Ekenbabu is a Bengali detective fictional character created by author Sujan Dasgupta. The first story of Ekenbabu, "Manhatane Moonstone" was published in Anandamela in 1991.
Mahabharat Murders is a Bengali thriller series streaming on Hoichoi from 13 May 2022, based on the book The Mahabharata Murders by Arnab Ray. The series is directed by Soumik Halder and stars Priyanka Sarkar, Arjun Chakrabarty, Saswata Chatterjee, Kaushik Sen, Rajdeep Gupta.
