The Queen's Golden Gaels are the athletic teams that represent Queen's University at Kingston in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Team colours are blue, red, and gold. Its main home is Richardson Memorial Stadium on West Campus.

The Edmonton Eskimos were a Canadian amateur and later professional men's ice hockey team that existed from 1911 to 1927. After playing in senior hockey in the Alberta-based Big-4 League, the Eskimos joined the Western Canada Hockey League (WCHL) for the inaugural 1921–22 WCHL season, and played for the Stanley Cup against the Ottawa Senators in 1923, as the WCHL Champions. The 69th Grey Cup was played on November 22, 1981, at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec in front of 52,487 fans. The 1981 Grey Cup game is considered to be one of the ten best Grey Cup games of all time. CFL football fans saw an unexpectedly exciting game, as the 22.5 point underdog Ottawa Rough Riders, sporting a woeful record of 5–11, came within 3 seconds of denying the Edmonton Eskimos the title. The Esks, with a 14–1–1 record, were almost the victims of what would have been the biggest upset in the history of the Grey Cup.

The team originated as the Edmonton Rugby Football Club in 1890 which played out of the Edmonton Exhibition Grounds. Roger Nelson was an American and Canadian football offensive tackle and guard. He played in the Canadian Football League for the Edmonton Eskimos from 1954 to 1967 and was a part of two Grey Cup winning teams for the Eskimos. Nelson played college football at the University of Oklahoma and was drafted in the fourteenth round of the 1954 NFL Draft.
Gregory Edward Marshall is the head coach for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues football (OUA). He was also a former defensive end in the Canadian Football League. He and his wife Cindy, have four children and one grandson.
Leo Blanchard is a former professional Canadian football offensive lineman who played between 1979 and 1991 in the Canadian Football League, mainly for the Edmonton Eskimos, but also for the Calgary Stampeders. Blanchard grew up in Edmonton, and played football in high school at Queen Elizabeth Composite High School. Blanchard played Canadian university football for the Alberta Golden Bears between 1977-78. He played for the Eskimos from 1979-87. He was named CFL All-Star every year from 1982 to 1986 and was a part of five Grey Cup championship teams with the Eskimos. He later worked as offensive line coach for the junior Victoria Rebels.
Richie Hall is the defensive coordinator for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He was formerly the head coach of the Edmonton Eskimos from 2009 to 2010.
Peter Lavorato is a former professional Canadian football player who played in the Canadian Football League for ten years. Lavorato played defensive back for the Edmonton Eskimos, BC Lions and Montreal Concordes from 1975 to 1984. He was part of five Grey Cup-winning teams for the Eskimos. Lavorato was an All-Star in 1977. He was a theatre arts major and played college football at Utah State University. He acted in professional theatre during his football career.
Dee Sterling is a professional Canadian football defensive lineman who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted by the Eskimos in the second round of the 2009 CFL Draft. He played CIS football for the Queen's Golden Gaels.
Matthew O'Donnell is a Canadian football offensive lineman for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). O'Donnell played high school football at Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School in Kingston Ontario. In the Canadian Football League's Amateur Scouting Bureau final rankings, he was ranked as the 11th best player for players eligible in the 2011 CFL Draft, and sixth by players in the CIS. On December 17, 2010, it was announced that O'Donnell was one of two CIS players to be named to the East–West Shrine Game.
Stuart Lang, a former Canadian football wide receiver, was the head coach for the University of Guelph's football team, the Guelph Gryphons, until November 2015. Lang joined Guelph's coaching staff in 2009 as receivers coach before being promoted to head coach in March 2010. As a professional player, he played for eight seasons for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, winning five Grey Cup championships. Collegiately, he played CIAU football for the Queen's Golden Gaels.

The Edmonton Eskimos won the 103rd Grey Cup on November 29, defeating the Ottawa Redblacks 26–20 in Winnipeg. The schedule was released February 13, 2015 and the regular season began on June 25, 2015.

The program began in 1882 and has competed for and won three Grey Cup championships and four Vanier Cup championships. The program has also boasted three Hec Crighton Trophy winners, including Tom Denison who won it twice.
Andrew Lue is a retired Canadian football defensive back. In the CFL's Amateur Scouting Bureau final rankings, he was ranked tenth best of the players eligible in the 2014 CFL Draft. He was then drafted tenth overall by the Montreal Alouettes and signed with the team in May 2014. He was then traded to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on October 12, 2016. On February 14, 2017 hew signed a contract with the Edmonton Eskimos. He then signed a contract with the Ottawa Redblacks on February 15, 2018.
