British Bus [1] was a bus group in the United Kingdom. It was sold to the Cowie Group in August 1996.
British Bus was founded in November 1992 when the Drawlane Transport Group [2] split its bus interests from its National Express in the lead up to the stock market listing of the latter. [3] [4] British Bus' owner had proposed floating the company on the stock exchange, however this was cancelled and the business sold to the Cowie Group in August 1996. [5] [6]

Arriva Colchester is a bus company operating services around Colchester. It is a subsidiary of Arriva. The company was, until March 2015, part of the Tellings-Golden Miller company, which was owned by Arriva at the time, under the name of Network Colchester.

During the late 1990s and early 2000s he ran Status Group, a group of small bus companies spread across England which included BakerBus, Choice Travel and MK Metro. He was a major shareholder in Tellings-Golden Miller and Centrebus Holdings before their sale to Arriva.
