Subang Jaya is a city in Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It comprises the southern third district of Petaling. It consists of the neighbourhoods from SS12 to SS19, UEP Subang Jaya (USJ), Putra Heights, Batu Tiga as well as PJS7, PJS9 and PJS11 of Bandar Sunway, the latter of which are partially jurisdictional within Petaling Jaya under the MBPJ. The city is governed by Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ), which also governs other areas of the Petaling district, such as Puchong and Seri Kembangan. According to Subang Jaya City Council, Subang Jaya has a population of 968,930 in 2020, which makes it the sixth largest city in Malaysia by population.

Guthrie Corridor Expressway, GCE, Guthrie Corridor Expressway is an expressway in Klang Valley, Selangor, Malaysia. It connects Shah Alam to Rawang. GCE is approximately 25 km (16 mi). The expressway is unique in Malaysia in that all project costs, including land acquisition, were completely borne by the concessionaire. Of the land acquired, 80 percent was from a plantation company Guthrie Berhad which in 2007 merged with two other companies to form Sime Darby. Today this expressway is owned by Prolintas and its subsidiary Prolintas Expressway Sdn Bhd. The starting point of the highway or 'Kilometre Zero' is located at the Jalan Monfort intersection near Shah Alam.

The Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link Expressway (PDLE) (formerlyKinrara–Damansara Expressway(KIDEX) or KIDEX Skyway) was a new expressway under planning in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The 14.9-kilometre (9.3 mi) expressway connects the Damansara–NKVE Interchange of the New Klang Valley Expressway in the north to Bandar Kinrara in the south. The new expressway was claimed to reduce travelling time between Damansara and Kinrara by about 25%, and reduce traffic volume by 5% in both directions from Puchong to Petaling Jaya. On 16 February 2015, after several protests by the local residents, the KIDEX Skyway project was cancelled by the Selangor State Government. On 2018, the project is revived as Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link Expressway.

The Samruddhi Mahamarg or Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway and Maharashtra Expressway-2 (ME-2), is a partially opened 6-lane wide, 701-km long access-controlled expressway in Maharashtra, India. It is amongst the country's longest greenfield road projects, which will connect the two capital cities of the state, its capital, Mumbai, and its third-largest and alternate capital city, Nagpur. The project is being led by the state infrastructure arm Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), and is designed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model.
Serenia City is a township in Dengkil township in Sepang District, Selangor, Malaysia. Serenia is located near Salak Tinggi. The area was formerly known as Ampar Tenang Estate and started out as the tea, rubber and current palm oil plantation. In 2016, the estate started to turn into a freehold township that is developed by Sime Darby Properties. The township has an area of 2370 acres and is divided into 5 precincts which are Cipta, Citra, Aman, Bayu and Puncak, targeted to cater to 60,000 residents in 2035.
Johari bin Harun was a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Pahang State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail from December 2022 and Member of the Pahang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pelangai from November 2022 to his death in August 2023 respectively. He was a member and Division Youth Chief of Bentong of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition. He was also the group CEO of Gading Group.
On 17 August 2023, a Beechcraft 390 Premier I business jet crashed onto an expressway interchange near Elmina in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia, killing 10 people. The aircraft was travelling from Langkawi International Airport to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport when the plane crashed two minutes prior to landing.
