Klang or Kelang, officially Royal City of Klang, is a city, royal city and former capital of the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is located within the Klang District. It was the civil capital of Selangor in an earlier era prior to the emergence of Kuala Lumpur and the current capital, Shah Alam. Port Klang, which is located in the Klang District, is the 12th busiest transshipment port and the 12th busiest container port in the world.
Port Klang is a town and the main gateway by sea into Malaysia. Known during colonial times as Port Swettenham but renamed Port Klang in July 1972, it is the largest port in the country. It is located about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) southwest of the town of Klang, and 38 kilometres (24 mi) southwest of Kuala Lumpur.
The Pulau Indah Expressway, Federal Route 181, is a countryside highway in Selangor, Malaysia. It connects Pandamaran from Shah Alam Expressway to West Port in Pulau Indah. This 17.7 km (11.0 mi) highway was opened to traffic in 1995, after four years of construction. Pulau Indah Expressway is a four-laned expressway, unlike the wider Shah Alam Expressway which has six lanes. Many cargo trucks travel along the highway daily. The 17.5 km (10.9 mi) expressway also acts as the North Klang Straits Bypass (Federal Route 20) to avoid the accident-prone area on this road.
The South Klang Valley Expressway, or SKVESouth Klang Valley Expressway, is an expressway in the southern part of Klang Valley, Malaysia's most densely populated region. This 51.7 km (32.1 mi) dual-carriageway provides links to the booming towns in southern Klang Valley, including the country's administrative capital, Putrajaya. South Klang Valley Expressway is the fifth east–west-oriented expressway in the Klang Valley after the Federal Highway, the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), the Kuala Lumpur–Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR) and the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS).
The West Coast Expressway (E32), abbreviated WCE, is an interstate controlled-access highway running along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The 233-kilometre (145-mile) expressway is currently under construction, with several sections open for public use. Once completed, the expressway will run between Changkat Jering, Perak and Banting, Selangor, following federal routes 5 and 60 for most of its route. The expressway will operate in three sections, with sections of federal route 5 completing the missing connections; these sections will be upgraded to limited-access roads. The expressway is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2025, except for a 10 km stretch from Section 7B which is expected to be completed by June 2026.
Carey Island is an island in Selangor, Malaysia. It is administered by the Zone 17 of the Kuala Langat Municipal Council. Carey Island is located to the south of Port Klang and north of Banting town. It is a huge island separated from the Selangor coast by the Langat River, connected by two bridges from Chodoi and Teluk Panglima Garang near Banting and a bridge from Pulau Indah and Pulau Carey.

Ipoh–Lumut Highway, Federal Route 5, is a 70.7-km federal highway in Perak, Malaysia, connecting the Perakian capital city of Ipoh in the east to Lumut near Sitiawan in the west. The Ipoh–Lumut Highway consists of a 22.7-km super two highway from Jelapang to Seputeh and a 48-km divided highway from Seputeh to Lumut. This highway is a part of the Federal Route 5 and serves as the final section of the FT5 route.

Selat Lumut-SKVE Bridge is an expressway bridge across Lumut Straits in Klang Valley, Selangor, Malaysia. It is a second longest straits bridge in the Klang Valley after Selat Lumut Bridge. It connects Pulau Carey to Pulau Indah on the South Klang Valley Expressway. A runaway truck ramp is provided on both ends of the bridge because of a 4% steep grade on the bridge.
The East Klang Valley Expressway, EKVEEast Klang Valley Expressway, Kuala Lumpur North Dispersal Expressway or Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road(KLORR) is a new expressway under construction in Klang Valley, Malaysia. The 39.5-kilometre-long (24.5 mi) expressway will connect Ukay Perdana in Ampang, Selangor and Bandar Sungai Long in Kajang. This expressway is part of the Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road (KLORR). The construction of the expressway was started on 1 September 2015. Once completed, the expressway will benefit 140,000 motorists per day.
