The Hardee's Pro Classic(formerly known as the Movie Gallery Pro Tennis Classic and the Dothan Pro Tennis Classic) is a tennis tournament held on outdoor clay courts at the Westgate Tennis Center in Dothan, Alabama. It has been held since 2001 and is part of the ITF Women's Circuit as a $80,000 event. In the past it has been a $25,000 event (2001) and a $75,000 event (2002–2009).

The Calabasas Pro Tennis Championships is a tennis tournament held in Calabasas, California, United States since 2001. The event was part of the ATP Challenger Tour from 2001 until 2010. However, since 2012 the tournament has been part of the ITF Men's Circuit. It is played on outdoor hard courts. Former French Open champion Michael Chang won the event in 2002.

Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling was a Southeastern independent professional wrestling promotion based in Marietta, Georgia. It was founded by retired wrestler and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Dusty Rhodes in 2000 and, during its three years in operation, held events throughout the Southern United States in Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and Alabama; it was especially popular in Atlanta, Georgia and Dothan, Alabama where the promotion regularly held events.
