India TV is a Hindi news channel based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The channel was launched on 20 May 2004 by Rajat Sharma and his wife Ritu Dhawan. [1] The channel is a subsidiary of Independent News Service, which was co-founded by Sharma and Dhawan in 1997. [2] A rebranding of the channel took place in February 2022. [3]

History

In 1997, Rajat Sharma and Ritu Dhawan set up the Independent News Service (INS), the parent company which owns India TV. He co-founded India TV with his wife in April 2004 from a studio in Film City, Noida, India TV. Its Broadcast Centre is in Sector 85, Noida, UP, India

Prior to launching India TV, Rajat Sharma was previously the anchor of Aapki Adalat on Zee News and Janata Ki Adalat on Star News (now ABP News.

Ronkini Gupta is a Hindustani classical vocalist and playback singer who won the Saregamapa World Series reality show aired on Zee TV in 2004. She sang the critically acclaimed song "Rafu" in Tumhari Sulu (2017) for which she was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. She sang two songs in the 2018 released film Sui Dhaaga for Anu Malik, "Chaav Laaga" with Papon and "Tu Hi Aham" which is her solo song in the film. She composed in Mr Ya Miss (2005) and lent voice to Jai Maharashtra Dhaba Bhatinda (2013), Aankhon Dekhi (2014), Pyaar Vali Love Story (2014), Hrudyantar (2017), Taleem (2016), "Rafu" in Tumhari Sulu (2017), "Chaav Laaga" with Papon and "Tu Hi Aham" as a solo song in Sui Dhaaga. Both the songs in Sui Dhaaga received widespread acclaim and firmly established her as a noteworthy singer of her generation. She is widely known for her ability to superbly blend her classical training with contemporary musicality.

<i>Gud Se Meetha Ishq</i> Indian drama television series

Gud Se Meetha Ishq is an Indian Hindi-language drama television series that premiered from 18 April 2022 on Star Bharat and digitally on Disney+ Hotstar. Produced by Film Farm India and an official remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Jol Nupur, it starred Pankhuri Awasthy Rode, Meera Deosthale, Ishaan Dhawan and Arhaan Behll.
