The International University of the Caribbean (IUC) was founded by the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands in November 2005. It consists of two educational entities: College for Leadership and Theological Development (CLTD; formerly the Institute for Theological and Leadership Development) and the Mel Nathan College.
The university has regional campuses, community campuses and delivery centres to cover the majority of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.[ citation needed ]
The University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) is the accrediting body for tertiary programmes in Jamaica.
There are several accredited programmes offered through College for Leadership and Theological Development (CLTD) [formerly Institute for Theological and Leadership Development] and Mel Nathan College (MNC)

Accreditation is currently being sought for all other programmes through the UCJ.
The normal procedure is for programmes to be delivered in keeping with UCJ guidelines and then submitted for accreditation after the graduation of the first cohort.
The International University of the Caribbean currently offers two scholarship opportunities: Tertiary Track Scholarship and First Steps Scholarship.
The Tertiary Track Scholarship is awarded to candidates based on their defined financial need, history of involvement in community work and their display of potential to be effective role models in their respective communities. Applicants are interviewed by a panel of IUC representatives prior to approval.
The First Steps Scholarship is a discount in the amount of $70,000 on your tuition fee for the first year of your selected programme. The programmes offered with this scholarship may vary each academic year.

Helderberg College of Higher Education is a private higher education institution situated in Somerset West, South Africa, about thirty minutes from Cape Town. It was established in 1893, and was the first Seventh-day Adventist College established outside of North America under the name "Union College." It moved to its present location in 1928, making it the oldest Adventist college on the continent of Africa. It is owned and operated by the Southern Africa Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, with headquarters in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
Universitas Terbuka is Indonesia state university and employs Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system to widen access to higher education to all Indonesian citizens, including those who live in remote islands throughout the country, as well as in various parts of the world. According to a distance education institution in the UK, which published "The Top Ten Mega Universities", UT-3 ranks closely with universities from China and Turkey.

Northern Caribbean University (NCU) is a private, liberal-arts institution owned and operated by the Jamaica Union Conference (JMUC) and the Atlantic Caribbean Union (ATCU) of Seventh-day Adventists, and is located in Jamaica. With its main campus only 2 miles south of Mandeville town, in Manchester, and three other campuses situated in Kingston, Montego Bay and Salem Runaway Bay, St. Ann, the university offers a number of professional, pre-professional and vocational programmes in a spiritually wholesome and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. Established in 1907, NCU currently enjoys an average yearly enrollment of over five thousand students, from up to 35 countries.
The Central University is a Private university in Ghana, founded by the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC). It was founded as a pastoral training institute by Mensah Otabil in 1988. In June 1991, it was known as the Central Bible College. It later became the Central Christian College in 1993 and eventually became the Central University College in 1998. In 2016, Central University College attained the status of a fully-fledged University thus now Central University. The stated aims of the university is to provide an "integrated and biblically-based tertiary education with particular reference to the needs of the African continent". It is currently the biggest private university in Ghana.
The Regent University College of Science and Technology is located in Accra, Ghana. It was registered in September 2003, and received accreditation to operate as a tertiary institution in 2004. In January 2005 it started its lectures with 30 pioneer students at Trinity Campus, Mataheko.
Pan Africa Christian (PAC) University is a private Christian University in Nairobi, Kenya.

William James College, formerly Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP), is a private college of psychology in Newton, Massachusetts. The University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) is a private university owned and operated by the Caribbean Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The main campus is located on 384 acres (1.55 km2) of land in the Maracas Valley on the island of Trinidad of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. There are also six satellite extension campuses located in Scarborough, Trinidad and Tobago; San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago; Georgetown, Guyana; Bridgetown, Barbados; Castries, St. Lucia; and St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. One other satellite campus is in the planning for St. George's, Grenada.

Bharata Mata College (Autonomous), Thrikkakara is an institution of higher education, located in Thrikkakara, Kochi, in the south Indian state of Kerala. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and offers 17 undergraduate, 6 post-graduate and 2 professional programmes. The main campus also houses four research centres in Chemistry, Mathematics and Commerce and operates as the offcampus centre for the School of Distance Education of the Mahatma Gandhi University. It holds an A+ grade accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) since 2019.

The University of Fort Lauderdale (UFTL) is a private non-denominational Christian university in Lauderhill, Florida. Founded in 1995, the school offers associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees and has a mission statement of being a "premier Christian institution of higher learning empowering future leaders through higher educational degrees rooted in Biblical principles". UFTL co-founder Henry B. Fernandez leads the school as chancellor and CEO.
