Jalaun Solar Power Project is a solar photo-voltaic power generating station spanning two villages of Kuhana and Shajahanpur in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh. The plant has been developed by Essel Infraprojects Limited, an arm of Essel Group. The plant is spread on a 250-acre land and is expected to generate 85 million units per year and connected to 132 KV Sarsela-Kalpi substations. [1]

The plant was inaugurated by U.P. chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on 27 January 2016 under the Uttar Pradesh Solar Power Policy 2013. A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between U.P. Government and Essel Infraprojects Limited has been signed which is valid for 25 years. [2]

Prayagraj Solar Power Project is the first solar power plant in Uttar Pradesh. The plant has been developed by Kolkata-based company EMC Limited at Naini, 25 km away from Prayagraj as part of Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission. The plant is spread out over 25 acres of land.

Bundelkhand Expressway is a 296 km-long (184 mi), four-lane wide access-controlled expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It connects Gonda village on NH-35 in Chitrakoot district with Kudrail village on Agra–Lucknow Expressway in Etawah district. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid down the foundation stone of Bundelkhand Expressway on 29 February 2020 in Gonda village, Chitrakoot, and the expressway was inaugurated on 16 July 2022. The expressway will boost tourism to Chitrakoot Dham.
