Kelly Lochbaum (born April 3, 1973, White Rock, British Columbia) is a former Canadian Football League linebacker for the BC Lions. He is currently a real estate agent in Abbotsford, British Columbia. [1]

Early years

Lochbaum attended W. J. Mouat Secondary School in Abbotsford, and as a senior, in 1991, was named the School's Athlete of the Year. He went on to play for the Abbotsford Air Force of the Canadian Junior Football League before attending Butte Junior College in [California], and then transferring to Northern Arizona University. [2]

Professional career

Lochbaum was drafted by the Lions in 1997 and played in 10 games that year, recording 55 tackles and 15 special teams tackles. [3] But for a one-year stint for the Calgary Stampeders in 2001, Lochbaum played for the Lions his entire ten-year career [2] and was considered a stand-out special teams player. [4] [5] He went unsigned, however, as a free agent in 2006. [4] [6] [7]

2006 BC Lions season

The 2006 BC Lions season was the 49th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 53rd overall. The Lions finished in first place in the West Division for a third consecutive season with a 13–5 record and won the 94th Grey Cup over the Montreal Alouettes. Lions quarterback Dave Dickenson was named the game's Most Valuable Player after completing 18 of 29 passes for 184 yards and rushing for 53 yards on six carries. Placekicker Paul McCallum tied a Grey Cup record by kicking six field goals en route to being named the Grey Cup's Most Valuable Canadian. The Lions won their fifth Grey Cup championship in franchise history and first since 2000 when they also defeated the Alouettes.

Jamall Lee Canadian gridiron football player (born 1987)

Jamall Lee is a former professional Canadian football running back who played for three seasons for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. He was signed by the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and released at the end of the pre-season, making him an NFL free agent. He was drafted by the BC Lions third overall in the 2009 CFL Draft. He played CIS football for the Bishop's Gaiters.
