The Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte, also known as simply the Stade des Martyrs and formerly known as Stade Kamanyola, is the national stadium of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), located in Lingwala in the Lukunga District of Kinshasa. It serves as the home stadium for the DR Congo national football team, AS Vita Club, and DCMP, primarily used for football matches and hosting a wide array of events. These events include athletics competitions, religious gatherings, political campaigns, concerts, and cultural celebrations, making it the largest multifunctional venue in the country.
Gombe, also known as La Gombe, is a municipality (commune) located in the Lukunga District of Kinshasa, which serves as the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Formerly referred to as Kalina, the name originated from Lieutenant E. Kallina, an Austro-Hungarian soldier who volunteered in the Independent State of the Congo. Encompassing a vast area of approximately 29.33 square kilometers, it is home to an approximate population of 49,024 residents.
National Library of the Democratic Republic of Congo is located in Kinshasa and was established in 1974 as an office within Ministry of Culture and Arts. In 1989, it became autonomous under presidential order.
Loyola University of Congo, also referred to by its acronym ULC, is a private Roman Catholic higher education institution run by the Central Africa Province of the Society of Jesus in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was founded by the Jesuits in 2016. The Jesuits have pursued educational efforts in Kinshasa since 1954, and have named the university after the founder of the Jesuits, Ignatius of Loyola.
Henri-Thomas Lokondo Yoka was a Congolese politician who served as a deputy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo National Assembly from 2011 until his death in 2021. He previously held office as Deputy Minister of Public Works from 1993 until 1994 and Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations from 1996 until 1997. In the 2000s he formed his own party, the Union Congolaise pour la Liberté.

The 2022 BAL season, also known as BAL Season 2, was the second season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The season began on 2 March 2022 and ended with the Finals on 28 May 2022. The group phase was played in the Dakar Arena in Dakar and the Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall in Cairo. The playoffs and finals were played in the BK Arena in Kigali for a second year in a row.

It is the only annual competition organised by the Democratic Republic of Congo Basketball Federation (FEBACO). The cup is organised since 1985.
New Generation Basketball is a Congolese basketball team based in Kinshasa. The team was founded in 2012 and plays in the Liprobakin of Kinshasa, where it has won the city championship five times. In 2016, New Generation won the Coupe du Congo for the first time.

The Mémorial du Soldat Congolais, also known as the Congolese Soldier Memorial, is a 3-meter-tall memorial located at the FORESCOM Roundabout in the Gombe commune of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The monument serves as a national tribute to the Congolese soldiers who fought and made the ultimate sacrifice throughout the country's tumultuous history, spanning from 1885 to the present day. Inaugurated on July 28, 2017, by former President Joseph Kabila, the monument was designed by Van Ntoto of Anko Design Corporation and constructed by a Congolese monumental sculptor, Christophe Meko Disengomoka. The memorial symbolizes remembrance, honor, and patriotism, providing visitors with a space to reflect on and pay tribute to the fallen soldiers who played a significant role in the nation's history.
The Kinshasa National Zoological Park or Kinshasa Zoological Garden, also known as Kinshasa Zoo, is an animal park located in the Gombe commune, next to the Kinshasa Grand Market and the Kinshasa General Hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The zoo is home to over 30 species of animals, including mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, and amphibians, totaling more than 129 animals.
The Gare de l'Est, also known as Kinshasa Est or Kinshasa Central Station, is a central railway station situated in the Gombe commune of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Positioned along the Matadi–Kinshasa Railway line, it functions as a pivotal transshipment point connecting the railway and the river. Managed by the Société Commerciale des Transports et des Ports, the station stands near Ngobila Beach at the Port of Kinshasa, fostering maritime links with Brazzaville, and is conveniently located close to SCTP buildings and the Ministry of Transport and Channels of Communication.
