Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is the Department of Management Studies of the University of Mumbai. The institute is named after industrialist and philanthropist Jamnalal Bajaj.

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are Centrally Funded Business Schools for management offering undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and executive programmes along with some additional courses in the field of business administration. The establishment of IIMs was initiated by Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India, based on the recommendation of the Planning Commission of India.

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, is an Indian business school, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. As one of India's premier Indian Institutes of Management, the school has been accorded the status of an Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India in 2017. It is widely regarded as the leading business school in India and one of the most prestigious business schools in the world.

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is an autonomous public business school located in Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala. The institute, set up in 1996 by the Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala, is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). It was the fifth IIM to be established.

Kundapur Vaman Kamath is the current Independent Director and Non-Executive Chairman of Jio Financial Services and the former chief of the New Development Bank of BRICS countries, previously he has also served as the Chairman of Infosys Limited, the second-largest Indian IT services company, and as the Non-Executive Chairman of ICICI Bank. Kamath also served as ICICI Bank's founder and Managing Director and CEO from 1 May 1996 until his retirement from executive responsibilities on 30 April 2009.

The Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence are the awards conferred by The Economic Times in the field of business, corporate and government policies, economies in India. It is an annual awards, conferred in various categories. Since 2017, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP (Deloitte) has been the title sponsor of the awards. The 2018 leg of the awards will be held on 22 November in Mumbai.

Indian Institute of Management Kashipur also known as IIM Kashipur, is a public business school located in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the thirteen Indian Institutes of Management the government has set up during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. The foundation stone of the institute was laid on 29 April 2011.

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur is a business school, located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. As one of India's premier Indian Institutes of Management, the school has been accorded the status of an Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India. The school was established as an autonomous body in 2011 and offers a two-year full-time MBA program, one-year full-time postgraduate MBA programs, a Doctor of Business Administration program and other management development programs. It is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Management set up by the central government during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan.

The MYRA School of Business is a business school established in 2012 in Mysore under the aegis of the Mysore Royal Academy (MYRA). The school and its campus were inaugurated on November 4, 2012.

Shikha Sharma is an Indian economist and banker. She was the managing director and CEO of Axis Bank from 2009 to 2018. She also worked for nearly thirty years at the ICICI Group, across its bank and insurance companies.

Malavika Harita is an Indian executive who is the former CEO of advertising and communications company Saatchi & Saatchi Focus that has now been rechristened to Publicis Health & Publicis Business. She is also the president of Ad club of Bangalore.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hasmukh Adhia</span> Indian banker and a civil servant

Hasmukh Adhia, IAS is an Indian Banker and a civil servant. He is one of the key persons behind the architecture and roll-out of the Goods and Services Tax & Demonetization scheme announced in 2016. He is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1981 Gujarat cadre batch who served as Finance Secretary and Revenue Secretary of State. He previously served in several capacities for the Indian and Gujarat governments, including as Financial Services Secretary. He is the present Chairman of Standing Committee of Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar and Non-Executive Chairman of Bank of Baroda. A week after the government nominated him chairman of state-owned Bank of Baroda, he was appointed as the Chancellor of Central University of Gujarat.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam</span> Business school in Andhra Pradesh, India

The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) is a public business school and Institute of National Importance located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is one of the twenty one Indian Institutes of Management. The institution started the first batch of its Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management from August 2015.

N. Srinivasa Iyer Ramaswamy (1926–2012), popularly known as Cartman Ramaswamy, was an Indian engineer, educationist, management academic and writer, and the founder director of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He was the founder of Centre for Action, Research and Technology for Man, Animal and Nature (CARTMAN), a non governmental organization working for region-relevant and appropriate technology transfer to rural areas and Indian Heritage Academy, an organization involved in propagating Indian cultural traditions. He was also the founder chairman of the Adarsh Vidya Kendra (AVK) Group of educational institutions. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, in 2006, for his contributions to society.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shaktikanta Das</span> Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

Shaktikanta Das is serving as the current & 25th governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). He was earlier a member of the Fifteenth Finance Commission and India's Sherpa to the G20. Das is a retired 1980 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.

The Raghuram Rajan Committee on Financial Sector Reforms was a committee constituted by the Government of India in 2007 for proposing the next generation of financial sector reforms in India. It was chaired by University of Chicago economist Raghuram Rajan who had earlier been the chief economist at the International Monetary Fund. The committee, in its report titled A Hundred Small Steps, recommended broad-based reforms across the financial sector, arguing that instead of focusing "on a few large, and usually politically controversial steps", India must "take a hundred small steps in the same direction".
