Hossein Alizadeh is an Iranian musician, composer, radif-preserver, researcher, teacher, and tar, shurangiz and setar instrumentalist and improviser. He has performed with such musicians as Shahram Nazeri, Mohammad-Reza Shajarian, Alireza Eftekhari and Jivan Gasparyan, as well as with a number of orchestras and ensembles.
Behesht-e Zahra is the largest cemetery in Iran. Located in the southern part of metropolitan Tehran, it is connected to the city by Tehran Metro Line 1.
In Shi'a Islam the guidance of clergy and keeping such a structure holds great importance. There are several branches of Shi'ism, of which Twelver Shi'ism is by far the largest, and each of the branches has different clergy structures. Caltex Records is an American record label and division of Caltex Music based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1980 by Iranian American immigrant Mehrdad Pakravan. The label focuses on Iranian music. In 1994, the label represented 75% of Persian musical artists in the world in part due to the exodus of musicians from Iran after the government banned popular music.

Persepolis Football Club Academy are the youth team of Persepolis Football Club. They currently play in the AFC Vision Asia Youth Premier League, the highest level of youth football in Iran.
The 2012–13 Hazfi Cup was the 26th season of the Iranian football knockout competition. Esteghlal was the defending champion, but was eliminated by Sepahan in the semi-final. The competition started on 13 December 2012 and ended on 5 May 2013. Sepahan won the title after defeating Persepolis in final.

The Iran Karate Federation (IKF) (Persian: فدراسیون کاراته جمهوری اسلامی ایران) is the national body for Karate in Iran. This federation is the governing body of control and free styles of karate in Iran.
Barbad Award is a statue awarded to the winners of the competitive section of Iran's most prestigious music festival, the Fajr International Music Festival. This award was added to the festival from the 31st Fajr International Music Festival.
