Saudi Vision 2030 is a Saudi Arabian government program launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in January 2016. The program aims to diversify the Saudi economy away from oil, in addition to transforming the country both socially and culturally. [1]

Al-Ula is an ancient Arabic oasis city located in Medina Province, Saudi Arabia. Saudi Vision 2030 is a government program launched by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which aims to achieve the goal of increased diversification economically, socially and culturally, in line with the vision of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. It was first announced on 25 April 2016 by the Saudi government.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Al Soudah</span> Village in the Abha region of Saudi Arabia

Soudah is a mountainous area in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia. At 3,015 metres above sea level, it includes Saudi Arabia’s highest peak, Jabal Soudah. The area is known for its dense juniper tree covered mountains.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Neom</span> Future city in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia

Neom is an urban area being built by Saudi Arabia in Tabuk. Launched in 2017 by crown prince Bin Salman, the site is at the northern tip of the Red Sea, due east of Egypt across the Gulf of Aqaba and south of Jordan. The total planned area of Neom is 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi). Multiple regions are planned, including a floating industrial complex, global trade hub, tourist resorts and a linear city powered by renewable energy sources.

The Red Sea Project, commonly referred to as The Red Sea, is a planned tourism megaproject in Saudi Arabia. The project, which is developed by Public Investment Fund-owned Red Sea Global, forms part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program. The project was announced by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in July 2017.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Qiddiya</span> Entertainment megaproject in Riyadh

Qiddiya is a planned entertainment and tourism megaproject in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Construction started in the beginning of 2019. It planned to open in 2023, though as of 2024 major projects including the Six Flags, the waterpark, and the racetrack are incomplete. It is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program, which aims to diversify the Saudi economy.

The Line is a linear smart city under construction in Saudi Arabia in Neom, Tabuk Province, which is designed to have no cars, streets or carbon emissions.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">New Murabba</span> Planned downtown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

New Murabba is a planned mixed-use real estate development in northwestern Riyadh and easternmost Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. It was announced in February 2023 by Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman as the world's largest modern downtown project. Named after Riyadh's al-Murabba neighborhood, it is part of Saudi Vision 2030 and would contain the Mukaab, a 400-meters tall cuboid skyscraper. It will be the world's second climate-controlled indoor city, after the Mohammed Bin Rashid City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City</span> Planned district in northwestern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, is a 840-acre planned real estate development in the Irqah neighborhood of northwestern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located in close proximity to the Wadi Hanifa. Announced in November 2021 by the MiSK Foundation, it is named after Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman and is slated to be the world's first 'non-profit city'. It will include academic institutions, a conference center, a science museum, a creative center and art gallery and an integrated residential complex.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Roshn</span> Real estate development company based in Saudi Arabia

Roshn is a real estate development company based in Saudi Arabia. The company was founded in August 2020 by the Saudi Public investment Fund as one of its Megaprojects. As one of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals, Roshn aims to enable home ownership to 70% of Saudi national.

Jeddah Central is a planned urban development project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Jeddah Central project is developed by Jeddah Central Development Company (JCDC), one of companies founded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The $20 billion project was officially announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in December 2021. It will cover a total area of 5.7 km2.

Soudah Peaks is a planned mountain tourism destination project in Al Soudah, 'Asir Province, Saudi Arabia. Soudah Peaks project is developed by Soudah Development Company (SDC), one of the companies founded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The $7.7 billion project was officially announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in September 2023. It spans a total area of 627 km2 with an elevation of 3,015 m above sea level on Saudi Arabia's highest peak.

Rua Al Madinah is a planned urban development project in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Rua Al Madinah project is developed by Rua Al Madinah Holding Company, one of the companies founded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The project was officially announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in August 2022. Once complete, the project will allow Medina to host up to 30 million Umrah pilgrims by 2030. The project will cover a total area of 1.5 km2.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Masar Destination</span> Urban Development Project in Mecca

Masar Destination is a planned urban development project in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Masar Destination project is developed by Umm Alqura for Development and Construction (UAQ), one of the companies founded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. The project was officially announced by UAQ in June 2020. Masar will be 3.65 km long and 300 m wide, leading to the Masjid al-Haram.
