This is a list of Israel's ambassadors to Germany. The ambassador is based in Berlin, the German capital. [1] The current ambassador is Jeremy Issacharoff, who has held his position since 2017. [2] The first ambassador was Asher Ben-Natan, [3] who served from 1965 to 1970.

Foreign relations of Fiji

Nativ, or officially Lishkat Hakesher or The Liaison Bureau, is an Israeli governmental liaison organization that maintained contact with Jews living in the Eastern Bloc during the Cold War and encouraged aliyah, immigration to Israel.

Yoram Ben-Zeev is an Israeli diplomat and former Israeli ambassador to Germany. Born in the Palestine Mandate on 20 July 1944—the date of the attempted assassination of Adolf Hitler, a fact described as symbolic by Ulrich W. Sahm of haGalil—he served as a lieutenant in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the 1967 Six-Day War, in which he was wounded. He subsequently obtained a BA (1970) in international relations and took graduate studies (1972) in Middle Eastern studies and political science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. After some years working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in embassies in Manila and Hong Kong, he was adviser to the president from 1987 to 1993. After this he took on diplomat roles involving the Middle East and North America, before he was appointed Israeli ambassador to Germany in 2007, replacing Shimon Stein. He said one of his goals of his ambassadorship is to deepen relations between Israel and the European Union, and to improve relations with the German public—the European peoples most critical of Israel according to surveys. He is married to Iris and has three children.

The Embassy of Israel to Nepal is the diplomatic mission of Israel in Nepal. The Embassy was established in March 1961 after diplomatic relations were established between the two countries in June 1960, under the leadership of David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel and B.P. Koirala, the first elected Prime Minister of Nepal.

Asher Ben-Natan

Asher Ben-Natan was an Israeli diplomat and a key figure in the country's defense and diplomacy fields. Ben-Natan led the search for Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann, who was captured in 1960. He became the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defense from 1959 until 1965. Ben-Natan then served as the first Israeli Ambassador to Germany from August 1965 until 1970. Ben-Natan was then appointed as Israel's Ambassador to France from 1970 until his retirement in 1974.

Permanent Missions of Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and the German Democratic Republic (GDR) were permanent representative missions established in a 1972 treaty and effective from 1973 to 1989 "in the seats of their respective governments" according to Article 8 of the Basic Treaty. They served as de facto embassies for each other.

Jeremy Issacharoff is an Israeli diplomat who has served as Israel’s Ambassador to Germany since 2017, succeeding Yakov Hadas-Handelsman. Before that, he was Vice Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has also served as deputy director general for strategic affairs and as such, has had the opportunity to be involved in various issues relating to Iran's nuclear program.

Eliashiv Ben-Horin was an Israeli Diplomat who served as Ambassador to Burma, Nepal and Sri Lanka, Venezuela with a concurrent appointment in Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica (1963-1967), West Germany (1970-1974), Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Economic Community
