Nord-du-Québec is the largest, but the least populous, of the seventeen administrative regions of Quebec, Canada. Chisasibi Place in Quebec, Canada

Chisasibi is a village on the eastern shore of James Bay, in the Eeyou Istchee equivalent territory (ET) in northern Quebec, Canada. It is situated on the south shore of La Grande River, less than 10 km (6.2 mi) from the river's mouth. Chisasibi is one of nine Cree villages in the region, and is a member of the Grand Council of the Crees of Quebec. The territory surrounding Chisasibi is part of the Eeyou Istchee James Bay Territory, of which parts are jointly managed by the municipalities of the Jamésie TE and the Cree Regional Authority of the Eeyou Istchee TE.

Kawawachikamach, Quebec Naskapi reserved land in Quebec, Canada

Kawawachikamach is a Naskapi/Iyiyiw First Nations reserve and community at the south end of Lake Matemace, approximately 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northeast of Schefferville, Quebec, Canada. It belongs to the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach. The village was built by the Naskapi/Iyiyiw from 1980 to 1983. The language spoken is Iyiyiw-Imuun, a dialect closely related to Innu and Iynu. The name means "the winding river".

Eeyou Istchee Cree territory equivalent to a regional county municipality in Quebec, Canada

Eeyou Istchee is a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) of Quebec, represented by the Grand Council of the Crees. On July 24, 2012, the Quebec government signed an accord with the Cree Nation that resulted in the abolition of the neighbouring municipality of Baie-James and the creation of the new Eeyou Istchee James Bay Regional Government, providing for the residents of neighbouring Jamésie TE and Eeyou Istchee to jointly govern the territory formerly governed by the municipality of Baie-James.

Eastmain is a Cree First Nation of Canada. Its members primarily live in the Terres réservées aux Cris or Cree reserved land of Eastmain, Quebec. It is governed by a band council and is a member of the Tribal Council of the Grand Council of the Crees.

Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach is a First Nation band government in Quebec, Canada. The members of the band are ethnically Naskapi Innu and speak the Naskapi language. The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach is the only Naskapi band in Quebec; there is another Naskapi band, Mushuau Innu First Nation located in Labrador.
