AdventHealth Orlando is a non-profit hospital owned by AdventHealth and is the largest in the hospital network. The hospital is a tertiary, research and academic medical center located in Orlando, Florida, servicing Central Florida and the Orange county region. It is the second largest hospital in Florida and the largest in Central Florida. AdventHealth Orlando is the 3rd largest hospital in the United States in 2023. AdventHealth Orlando is the oldest Seventh-day Adventist hospital in the state of Florida.
Houston Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is a nonprofit cancer treatment and research center located in Tampa, Florida. Established in 1981 by the Florida Legislature, the hospital opened in October 1986 on the University of South Florida's campus. AdventHealth Ocala is an acute care non-profit hospital in Ocala, Florida. The healthcare facility is owned by the Marion County Hospital District, and has been leased to AdventHealth since 2018. The hospital district is largely funded by the US$213 million paid to the district by Community Health Systems in 2014 for the right to operate this facility. CHS sold their lease to Adventist Health System in 2018.
AdventHealth is a Seventh-day Adventist non-profit health care system headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Florida, that operates facilities in 9 states across the United States. On January 2, 2019, Adventist Health System rebranded to AdventHealth. It is the largest not-for-profit Protestant health care provider. In 2021, it was the second largest hospital network in Florida. On February 28, 2023, it was the fifteenth largest in the country. It operates 52 hospitals in nine states that serve more than 6.7 million patients annually.
The Holy Land Experience (HLE) was a Christian amusement park in Orlando, Florida and registered non-profit corporation. HLE conducted weekly church services and bible studies for the general public. HLE's theme park recreated the architecture and themes of the ancient city of Jerusalem in 1st-century Judaea. The Holy Land Experience was owned by the Trinity Broadcasting Network. It closed in March 2020.

Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is a 1,040-bed non-profit hospital, tertiary, research and academic medical center located on Davis Island in Tampa, Florida, servicing western Florida and the greater Tampa Bay region. TGH is one of the region's only university-level academic medical centers. Tampa General Hospital is the primary teaching affiliate of the Morsani College of Medicine of University of South Florida. TGH also features the area's only ACS designated level I adult and pediatric trauma center and has a rooftop helipad to handle medevac patients. Attached to the medical center is the Tampa General Hospital Children's Medical Center that treats infants, children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 21.
AdventHealth Celebration is a non-profit hospital in Celebration, Florida owned by AdventHealth. The Mediterranean-style hospital attracts patients from around the world. The hospital has an affiliation with AdventHealth Orlando.
The Buccaneers–Dolphins rivalry is between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). It is an in-state, interconference matchup between the two oldest NFL teams in the state of Florida. It has been active in most years since the Buccaneers joined the league as an expansion team in 1976. The rivalry is mostly a mainstay of the preseason, as the teams have been in different conferences since 1977, with the Dolphins are part of the AFC East while the Buccaneers are currently part of the NFC South. According to the current NFL scheduling format, the two teams play each other once every four years during the regular season and once every eight seasons at each team's home stadium. However, with a new 17-game schedule being introduced in 2021, it is now possible for the two teams to meet as early as every other year, depending on division placement and from the inter-conference match-ups made two years earlier. In addition, the two clubs play each other during the preseason nearly every year, with the site rotating on a mostly regular basis. The two teams have never met in the playoffs. Currently, the only circumstance in which the two teams could meet during the postseason would be in the Super Bowl.

The National Basketball Association has undergone several rounds of expansion in the league's history, since it began play in 1946, to reach 30 teams. The most recent examples are the additions of the Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat in 1988; the Minnesota Timberwolves and Orlando Magic in 1989; the Toronto Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies in 1995 ; and the New Orleans Hornets in 2002. In June 2022, Commissioner Adam Silver confirmed that while there are no current plans to expand beyond 30 teams, the NBA "invariably will expand."
Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida (NCH) is a freestanding, 130-bed, pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Lake Nona Medical City outside of Orlando, Florida. It is affiliated with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and is a member of the Nemours Children's Health, one of two freestanding hospitals in the system. The hospital, a multi-year recipient of The Leapfrog Award for quality and safety, provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout Central Florida and beyond. It features a regional pediatric intensive-care unit and neonatal intensive care units serving both central Florida and the greater Florida regions.
