The mayor of Queenstown-Lakes in New Zealand presides over the Queenstown-Lakes District Council. The district council has existed since 1986 and there have been six mayors so far.

Queenstown-Lakes District Council

In 1986, the Queenstown Borough Council merged with the Lake County to form Queenstown-Lakes District Council. The last mayor of Queenstown Borough, John Davies, was elected as the first mayor of Queenstown-Lakes District. In 1989, Arrowtown Borough Council amalgamated with Queenstown-Lakes District Council in the 1989 local government reforms.

St Omer was a councillor for 11 years and the mayor of Queenstown Borough from 1887 to 1891 and 1894 to 1903.

William Arthur Anderson (1888–1978) was the fifteenth mayor of Queenstown Borough in New Zealand. He served two terms as mayor, from 1939 to 1950, and from 1953 to 1956. He spent 16 years as an elected member of the Queenstown Borough Council, 10 of which were as deputy mayor.

This is a list of mayors of Queenstown Borough in New Zealand. The mayor was the head of the Queenstown Borough Council. The borough existed from 1866 until 1986, when it merged with the Lake County to form Queenstown-Lakes District. During the 120 years of its existence, there were 21 mayors.

Queenstown-Lakes District Council is the territorial authority for the Queenstown-Lakes District of New Zealand.
