Miss Puerto Rico is a national title bestowed on the women representing Puerto Rico in international beauty pageants. Currently, Miss Universe Puerto Rico selects the representative for Miss Universe, Miss World Puerto Rico for Miss World, Miss Earth Puerto Rico for Miss Earth and Miss Global, Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico(Our Beauty Puerto Rico) for Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Grand International, and Miss Intercontinental Puerto Rico for Miss Intercontinental. Since 2023, Puerto Rico is the only nation to have won all eight major international beauty pageants. Not including Miss Intercontinental and Miss Global, Puerto Rico is, since 2019, the first and currently the only country to have won the other six pageants, which are considered the Grand Slam, as they are the most important. Miss Venezuela is a Venezuelan beauty pageant operated by the Cisneros Group. Founded in 1952, it currently selects Venezuelan representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss International. The current national national director of Miss Venezuela is Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler.

Miss World 2006, the 56th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 30 September 2006 at the Sala Kongresowa, the main 2,897-seat auditorium of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, Poland. It was the first time ever that the pageant was held in the Continental Europe and a European city other than London, United Kingdom, having previously been held there in 2002 after the Nigeria Controversy. The pageant officially concluded after Taťána Kuchařová from the Czech Republic was crowned Miss World 2006 by outgoing titleholder Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir of Iceland.

Puteri Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The current national pageant which chooses the Indian representative for Miss Earth is Miss Divine Beauty of India.
Miss Grand Latvia is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Latvian representatives competing at the Miss Grand International pageant. The title was first awarded in 2013, when the director of Mis Latvija, Inta Fogele, assigned the winner of Miss Rezekne 2013, Kristīne Rancāne, to represent Latvia at the inaugural edition of the mentioned international contest in Thailand, where she won the Best in Swimsuit award and was placed among the top 10 finalists, which was considered the only and highest placement for Latvian representatives at Miss Grand International.
