Rink "Rien" van der Velde (born 21 February 1957) [1] is a Dutch politician. He was a member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands for the Labour Party between 25 October 2016 and 23 March 2017. [1] He entered the House as a temporary replacement of Sjoera Dikkers. On 14 December 2016 he became a permanent member of the House when he took the place of the resigned parliamentary group leader Diederik Samsom. [2] He has served in the municipal council of Noordoostpolder since 2010. He serves as council leader of the combination Labour Party/GreenLeft. [1] [3] [4]

Van der Velde is a lecturer at Van Hall Larenstein since September 2006. He also owns an education institute. [1]

Van der Velde was number 51 on the Labour Party list for the 2012 Dutch general election. [5]

Paulus Fredericus Cornelius Jansen is a Dutch politician and civil engineer. As a member of the Socialist Party he was an MP between 30 November 2006 and 14 April 2014. He officially left the House of Representatives on 13 May 2014 and was permanently replaced by Tjitske Siderius, who until then had temporary replaced Renske Leijten. He focused on matters of natural environment, climate change, spatial planning, water management, housing, energy and environmental noise. Since 8 May 2014 he has been an alderman in the city of Utrecht.

Renske Maria Leijten is a Dutch politician. As a member of the Socialist Party she has been an MP since 30 November 2006. She focuses on matters of public health, quality of life and sports. From 6 February 2014 until 29 May 2014 she was temporarily absent due to maternity leave, she was first replaced by Tjitske Siderius, and since 14 May 2014 by Henri Swinkels.

Tjitske Siderius

Tjitske Siderius is a Dutch politician. She was a member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands for the Socialist Party between 3 September 2013 and 26 November 2013, temporarily replacing Sadet Karabulut, who went on maternity leave. From 6 February 2014 Siderius temporarily replaced Renske Leijten who went on maternity leave. When Paulus Jansen resigned in April 2014, Siderius became his permanent replacement on 14 May 2014. Henri Swinkels then became the temporary replacement for Leijten. Her term in the House ended on 23 March 2017.

Henri Swinkels

Henri Swinkels is a Dutch politician, he was a temporary member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands for the Socialist Party from 14 May 2014 until 29 May 2014 when he replaced Renske Leijten who was on pregnancy and maternity leave. Leijten had earlier been replaced by Tjitske Siderius. Siderius was, however, made permanent member of the House after Paulus Jansen resigned. He currently serves as a member of the Provincial-Executive of North Brabant.

2016 Speaker of the House of Representatives (Netherlands) election

The 2016 Speaker of the House of Representatives election was called to elect the new Speaker of the House of Representatives after incumbent Anouchka van Miltenburg of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) had resigned on 12 December 2015. Van Miltenburg who had been the Speaker since 25 September 2012 resigned after increasing criticism on her performance as Speaker. Khadija Arib of the Labour Party (PvdA) who had been a Member of the House of Representatives from 19 May 1998 until 30 November 2006 and again since 1 March 2007 beat Ton Elias of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) who has been a Member of the House of Representatives since 18 December 2008.

Mustafa Amhaouch

Mustafa Amhaouch is a Dutch politician, he has been a member of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands for the Christian Democratic Appeal since 12 January 2016, when he replaced Peter Oskam. Previously he served as municipal councillor in Helden between 1997 and 2006.

The 2021 Dutch general election to elect the members of the House of Representatives is scheduled for 17 March.

Emre Ünver Dutch politician

Emre Ünver is a Dutch politician. He was a member of the House of Representatives for the Labour Party from 14 December 2016 until 15 February 2017, replacing Sjoera Dikkers. Ünver was a member of the municipal council of Amsterdam from 11 March 2006 until 2018 and served as party vice-councilchairman. Since May 2018 he has been President of the board of the borough of Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
