The South African Business Schools Association (SABSA) is an association of South African business schools offering accredited MBA programmes. Institutions are accredited in South Africa by the Council on Higher Education (CHE), whilst institutions also pursue international accreditation from AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB.

SABSA partners with the Association of African Business Schools (AABS), and SADCnet (funded by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, the Gordon Institute of Business Science and the University of Botswana). SADCnet offers workshops for business school leaders in the Southern African Development Community (SADC). [21]

Illovo is a suburb of Sandton, South Africa. It borders Hyde Park, Sandhurst, Inanda and Melrose. Illovo is sought-after and home to many young professionals and creatives because of its close proximity to Sandton and Johannesburg business centres and many affordable apartment blocks. It is located in Region E of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.

Damelin is a private college founded in 1943 by Benjamin Damelin. Damelin has 17 campuses in South Africa and is owned by Educor group. Damelin offers degrees, diplomas and other higher qualifications, but is considered a college instead of a university due to the regulations for tertiary institutions in South Africa. Damelin is the oldest and most profitable education subsidiary owned by Educor. By November 2012, over one million students had graduated from Damelin.

Master of Commerce (MCom or M Comm; sometimes Magister Commercii as is a postgraduate master's degree focusing on commerce-, accounting-, management- and economics-related subjects. Like the undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce, the degree is mainly offered in Commonwealth nations; it is also offered in Spain and some states in Latin America.

The Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management is the graduate business school of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Founded in 1969, Owen offers six degrees: a standard 2-year Master of Business Administration (MBA), an Executive MBA, Master of Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy-Valuation, and Master of Management in Health Care, as well as a variety of joint professional and MBA degree programs. Owen also offers non-degree programs for undergraduates and professionals.

The University of Pretoria is a multi-campus public research university in Pretoria, the administrative and de facto capital of South Africa. The university was established in 1908 as the Pretoria campus of the Johannesburg-based Transvaal University College and is the fourth South African institution in continuous operation to be awarded university status. The university has grown from the original 32 students in a single late Victorian house to approximately 53,000 in 2019. The university was built on seven suburban campuses on 1,190 hectares.

The North-West University (NWU) is a public research university located on three campuses in Potchefstroom, Mahikeng and Vanderbijlpark in South Africa. The university came into existence through the merger of the Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education, which also had a branch in Vanderbijlpark, and the University of North-West in 2004. With its merged status, the North-West University became one of the largest universities in South Africa with the third largest student population in the country.

Nick Binedell is a South African academic and the founding director of the Gordon Institute of Business Science of the University of Pretoria in Johannesburg, South Africa., During his university days he was actively involved in AIESEC.

The University of Pretoria Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Information Technology educational programs stretch back to 1908 and consists of the School of Engineering, School for the Built Environment, School of Information Technology and the Graduate School of Technology Management. The university is the only African collaborator in the CDIO engineering initiative: Since 1997, the university as a whole has produced more research outputs every year than any other institution of higher learning in South Africa, as measured by the Department of Education's accreditation benchmark.

Regenesys Business School is a private business school based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Regenesys Group includes Regenesys Business School, Regenesys School of Public Management and Regenesys School of Law. The group has campuses and offices in South Africa, Mumbai, Silicon Valley, Nairobi, and Lagos.

Tebogo Ditshego is the chief executive officer (CEO) of South African public relations agency Ditshego Media and President of the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA). Forbes Magazine included him in their list of the top 30 African entrepreneurs under 30 in 2014. In 2012 he founded an on-line book club called ReadaBookSA, which has grown to become the biggest on-line book club in Africa.
