Stand Up is the third Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, it was released on August 8, 2008. [1] The EP sold over 140,000 copies by the end of the following month, [2] supported by the popularity of the number one hit single "Haru Haru". [3] The song became one of the most downloaded singles of all-time in South Korea.
Teasers for the album was released on August 1, including the announcement that Japanese DJ Daishi Dance had collaborated with the group on a song. [4] Released on August 8, 2008, the EP sold more than 30,000 copies in two days [5] and sold 100,000 copies in two weeks. [6] Stand Up was the number-one album of the month for August 2008, becoming the group's first monthly number-one album in South Korea. [7] It eventually sold over 168,000 copies by 2016.
