Tawas Area School District is a public school district in the U.S. state of Michigan serving pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, and draws its approximately 1,470 students from the cities of East Tawas and Tawas City as well as Alabaster Township, Baldwin Township, Grant Township, Sherman Township, Tawas Township, and Wilber Township in Iosco County.
The district includes Clara Bolen Elementary (Pre-K to 4), Tawas Area Middle School (5-8), and Tawas Area High School (9-12).
Peter C. Lemon is an alumnus of Tawas Area High School. On January 12, 2005, he donated his Medal of Honor to the school.
Jeff Janis graduated from Tawas Area High School in 2009. A wide receiver for the NFL's Green Bay Packers, he was selected by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Lambeau Field is an outdoor athletic stadium in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. The home field of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL), it opened in 1957 as City Stadium, replacing the original City Stadium at Green Bay East High School as the Packers' home field. Informally known as New City Stadium for its first eight seasons, it was renamed in August 1965 in memory of Packers founder, player, and long-time head coach, Curly Lambeau, who had died two months earlier.

Robert Andrew "Bob" Long is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League who played in the 1960s and 1970s and earned two Super Bowl rings. He attended suburban Pittsburgh's Washington Township High School, and Wichita State University. His seven-year pro-career was spent with the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Redskins. He was a contributing player of both of Vince Lombardi's teams which won Super Bowl I and Super Bowl II. Long was inducted into the State of Kansas Hall of Fame in 1965 and the Wichita State Hall of Fame in 1972. Recently, in 2008 he was added to the Western Chapter of Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.
Emlen Lewis Tunnell, sometimes known by the nickname "The Gremlin", was an American professional football player and coach. He was the first African American to play for the New York Giants and also the first to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Centerville High School is a public school of secondary education for grades 9–12 located in Centerville, Ohio, situated ten miles south of Dayton. It is the only high school in the Centerville City School District, which also includes three middle schools, six elementary schools, and two K–1 schools, or "primary villages."
