USCT Port, also known as USCT PAD, is a Senegalese basketball team based in Dakar. It currently plays in the Nationale 1, after promoting from the second division in 2021. [1] It is the basketball team of the Autonomous Port of Dakar.

The LNB Pro A, currently known for sponsorship reasons as Betclic Élite, is the top-tier men's professional basketball league in France. The competition has existed since 1921. The Nationale 1 Hommes, officially named the Total League for sponsorship reasons, is the highest men's basketball league in Luxembourg. The league's governing body is Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Basketball (FLBB). Prior to the 2012–13 season, the league was known as the Diekirch League.

LNB Pro B

The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the 2nd-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987. The top two placed teams from each Pro B season are promoted to the top-tier level LNB Pro A. The two last placed teams are relegated to the third level NM1.

The Nationale 1 Masculin is the highest professional basketball league in Senegal. Established in 1971, the league consists of 16 teams.

Association Sportive de Monaco Basketball Club, commonly referred to as A.S. Monaco Basket, is a French-registered Monaco-based professional basketball club. They are a part of the Monaco-based multi-sports club of A.S. Monaco, which was founded in 1924.

Thierno Ibrahima Niang is a Senegalese basketball player who plays for DUC Dakar of the Nationale 1. He played college basketball with the Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball team, although a nagging back injury reduced his role from impact starter to reserve. Niang also competes at international events with the Senegal national team. He played the sport in high school at Bridgton Academy and went on to represent Triton College in Illinois.

US Gorée (basketball)

Union Sportive Gorée is a basketball club based in Gorée Island, east of the city centre of Dakar. They play in the top division in Senegalese basketball, the Nationale 1. Their home arena is the Marius Ndiaye Stadium. The team president is Augustin Senghor. The club has won six national championships.

AS Douanes (basketball)

Association Sportive des Douanes, commonly known as AS Douanes, is a Senegalese basketball club from Dakar. The team plays in the Nationale 1 and was a member of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) in the 2021 season.

GNBC (basketball)

Gendarmerie Nationale Basketball Club, commonly known as GNBC, is a Malagasy basketball club based in Antsirabe, Vakinankaratra. The team plays in the Malagasy N1A and played in the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Established in 2012, the team has won its national championship twice.

DUC Dakar

Dakar Université Club Basketball, also known as DUC Dakar, is a Senegalese basketball club based in Dakar. It is the basketball team of the Cheikh Anta Diop University. The team plays in the Nationale 1 and has won the league five times, its last being in 2021. Established in 1956, the team was founded as a basketball club and later became a multisports club, including football, athletics and more.

Louis Adams is a Senegalese basketball player who currently plays for ASC Ville de Dakar of the Nationale 1 and Senegal.

The 2022 Basketball Africa League (BAL) season will be the second season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The season will begin on 2 March 2021 and will end with the final on 28 May 2021. The group phase will be played in the Dakar Arena in Dakar and the Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall in Cairo. The playoffs and finals will be played in the Kigali Arena in Kigali for a second year in a row.

ASCC Bopp is a Senegalese basketball club based in Dakar. It plays in the Nationale 1, the highest national level. Established in 1969, Bopp has won the national championship four times.

ASC Ville de Dakar

ASC Ville de Dakar, commonly known simply as ASCVD, is a Senegalese basketball club based in Dakar. The team competes in the Nationale 1, the highest national level. The club was established in 1980, its men's team was founded in 2014.

The 2021 Nationale 1 season was the season of the Nationale 1, the premier basketball league in Senegal. The champions directly qualify for the 2022 Basketball Africa League season.

Université Gaston Berger (basketball)

Université Gaston Berger, also known as UGB Saint-Louis or simply UGB, is a Senegalese basketball club based in Saint-Louis. The team competes in the Nationale 1, the highest national level. It is the basketball section of the Gaston Berger University. The team has won one Senegalese championship and two Cup titles.
