Wilburn was a three-time EPBL/EBA champion with the Allentown Jets, and he won the EPBL Most Valuable Player award in 1968 when with the Trenton Colonials, and the EBA Most Valuable Player award when with the Allentown Jets in 1974.
Thomas Wellborn, son of John Wellborn II, was born in Accomack County, Virginia in 1640 and died in 1702. He served as Captain in the King's Militia, and in the Virginia House of Burgesses from 1699 to 1702. He was also a member of the Board of Justices.
