The Chevrolet Adra is a concept subcompact SUV unveiled in Auto Expo 2014 by Chevrolet. The car was designed by General Motors India Private Limited in their Bangalore facility. Production of the Adra was going to be in 2016 or 2017 as an India-only subcompact SUV, but production was cancelled as Chevrolet sales were declining in India, leading to Chevrolet pulling out of the Indian market, along with South Africa, in 2017. A crossover, crossover SUV, or crossover utility vehicle (CUV) is a type of sport utility vehicle-like vehicle built with unibody frame construction. A term that originated from North America, crossovers are based on a platform shared with a passenger car, as opposed to a platform shared with a pickup truck. The Tata Punch is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by Tata Motors Cars since 2021. Positioned as the smallest SUV of the brand below the Nexon, The concept was revealed as H2X compact SUV at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show in 2019, followed by the near-production HBX concept at the Auto Expo 2020. On 23 August 2021, the vehicle was revealed with the name Punch. The release date of this car is scheduled to be on October 04, 2021.
