St. Luke's Hospital is a Massachusetts hospital located at 101 Page Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
The hospital was founded in 1884 by the Protestant Episcopal church with large financial contributions from Horatio Hathaway, a church leader who was one of the founders of Berkshire Hathaway. [1]
In 1996 St. Luke's merged with Charlton Memorial [2] in Fall River and Tobey Hospital [3] in Wareham to form the Southcoast Health System.
In 2006, St. Luke's began building a new Emergency Department. Inside there are nineteen new private treatment bays. In 2008, The In-House Patient Pharmacy Department installed a Drug dispensing system throughout the floors called Pyxis Connect. While its operations continue in 2009 as the upgrade to the OR Rooms and Endoscopy Departments received new machines per room.
St. Luke's has 293 beds in service and offers extensive in-patient medical and surgical services, with particular expertise in neurosurgery, cardiology, and general surgery.

It is affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Health System, a nonprofit hospital system formed by the merger of Continuum Health Partners and the Mount Sinai Medical Center in September 2013. It provides general medical and surgical facilities, ambulatory care, and a Level 2 Trauma Center, verified by the American College of Surgeons. From 1978 to 2020, it was affiliated with Mount Sinai West as part of St. Luke's–Roosevelt Hospital Center.

Saint Vincent Hospital is a 381-bed hospital located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Founded by the Catholic Sisters of Providence of Holyoke in 1893, Saint Vincent's was named after the patron saint of the Sisters' order, Saint Vincent de Paul. In 1990, the hospital merged with the Fallon Healthcare System. Vanguard Health Systems purchased the hospital in 2005. In 2021, nurses went on strike at the hospital, which by this time was owned by Tenet Healthcare.
Southcoast Health is an affiliation of three partner hospitals located in the southeastern portion of Massachusetts. The organization was founded in June 1996. The three partner hospitals had been in talks for a merger since late 1995 after pressure from healthcare organizations in the Providence and Boston areas. As of December 2021, SouthCoast Health employs over 7500 employees across the entire system.
Northampton State Hospital was a historic psychiatric hospital at 1 Prince Street on top of Hospital Hill outside of Northampton, Massachusetts. The hospital building was constructed in 1856. It operated until 1993, and the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
