The 11th General Junta was the meeting of the General Junta, the parliament of the Principality of Asturias, with the membership determined by the results of the regional election held on 26 May 2019. The congress met for the first time on 24 June 2019.
The 11th Asturian regional election was held on 26 May 2019. At the election the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) remained the largest party in the General Junta but fell short of a majority again. [1]

The new parliament met for the first time on 24 June 2019 and Marcelino Marcos (PSOE) was elected as President of the General Junta with the support of Podemos and United Left. [2]

On 29 July 2019, with the aim of avoiding a very big mixed group, a new proposal for creating groups with only two members was allowed. [3] This reform allowed United Left, Asturias Forum and Vox to have their own parliamentary group.

Asturias Forum, previously known as Forum of Citizens is a regionalist political party in the Principality of Asturias.
The 2015 Asturian regional election was held on Sunday, 24 May 2015, to elect the 10th General Junta of the Principality of Asturias. All 45 seats in the General Junta were up for election. Because regional elections in the Principality of Asturias were mandated for the fourth Sunday of May every four years, the 2012 snap election did not alter the term of the four-year legislature starting in 2011. The election was held simultaneously with regional elections in twelve other autonomous communities and local elections all throughout Spain.
Podemos Asturias is the regional branch of Podemos in Asturias, Spain.

Lorena Gil is a Spanish politician who served as member of the General Junta of the Principality of Asturias from 2015 to 2020 and who lead Podemos Asturies into the 2019 regional elections in Asturias.
The 12th General Junta is the current meeting of the General Junta, the parliament of the Principality of Asturias, with the membership determined by the results of the regional election held on 28 May 2023. The congress met for the first time on 26 June 2023, with a maximum term of four years.
Cristina Coto de la Mata is a Spanish politician who was president of the Asturias Forum (2015–2018) and was a deputy in the General Junta of the Principality of Asturias and in the Oviedo City Council (2011–2019).
