The Buenos Aires Underground, locally known as Subte, is a rapid transit system that serves the area of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The first section of this network opened in 1913, making it the 13th subway in the world and the first underground railway in Latin America, the Southern Hemisphere, and the Spanish-speaking world, with the Madrid Metro opening five years later, in 1919. As of 2015, Buenos Aires is the only Argentine city with a metro system, but there is a proposal to build a metro in the city of Córdoba, while a proposal to build a metro in Rosario was shelved in favour of a tramway network.
La Raza is a Mexico City Metro transfer station in the Gustavo A. Madero borough of Mexico City. It is a combined underground and at-grade station with two side platforms each, served by Lines 3 and 5. La Raza station is located between Potrero and Tlatelolco stations on Line 3, and between Autobuses del Norte and Misterios stations on Line 5. It serves the colonias (neighborhoods) of Vallejo and Héroes de Nacozari. The station's pictogram depicts the Monumento a la Raza, a pyramid-shaped construction erected in honor of la Raza, Mexico's many native peoples and cultures, located near the station.
The Mexico City Metrobús, simply known as Metrobús, is a bus rapid transit (BRT) system that has served Mexico City since line 1 opened on 19 June 2005. Metrorrey, officially Sistema de Transporte Colectivo Metrorrey, is a light metro system in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. While it calls itself a "Metro", it is actually a medium-capacity rail system. Operations began in 1991. As of 2014, the system operates 40 high-floor electric trains, along a total system of 31 stations with a length of 32 kilometers (20 mi).
Tláhuac is a station of the Mexico City Metro in colonia El Triángulo, Tláhuac, Mexico City. It is an at-grade station with two island platforms that serves as the southern terminus of Line 12. The station's pictogram features the glyph of Tláhuac. It is followed by Tlaltenco station, also in Tláhuac. The station was opened on 30 October 2012, on the first day of the service Tláhuac–Mixcoac.
Avenida de América is a multimodal station in Madrid, Spain that services Madrid Metro Line 4, Line 6, Line 7, and Line 9, as well as city buses and intercity and long-distance coaches. Between 1986 and 1996, it also served Line 8. The station is located below the intersections of Avenida de América and Francisco Silvela and Príncipe de Vergara streets. The station consists of several underground levels, with the bus terminal located in the upper three and the Metro station located in the lower four. It serves the neighborhood of Prosperidad and El Viso in Chamartín district and La Guindalera in Salamanca district. It is about 15 minutes from Madrid Barajas Airport and 10 minutes from the city centre of Madrid.
