Villa Zaita is a Panama Metro station on Line 1. It was opened on April 25, 2024 as the northern terminus of an extension of Line 1 from San Isidro. [1]

The name of the station references the colonia of the same name, which in turn was named after Manuel Romero Rubio, who served as the Secretary of the Interior between 1884 and 1895; its pictogram depicts his bust. The station was opened on 15 December 1999, on the first day of service between Villa de Aragón and Buenavista stations. The station facilities are partially accessible to people with disabilities as there are tactile pavings and braille signage plates. In 2019, Romero Rubio metro station had an average daily ridership of 8,014 passengers, making it the sixth least used on the line.
