The 1906 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets baseball team represented the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets of the Georgia Institute of Technology in the 1906 college baseball season. Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium is a college baseball stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. It has been the home field of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets college baseball team since 1930. The current stadium opened in 2002.

David Irenus "Red" Barron was an American football and baseball player. Barron was a three-sport letterwinner at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In football, he was named second or third team All American twice, first-team All-Southern four times, and was an inductee to Tech's Hall of Fame and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. He was also twice an All-Southern baseball player at Tech. His brother was Carter Barron.
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team represents the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in NCAA Division I basketball. The team plays its home games in McCamish Pavilion on the school's Atlanta campus and is currently coached by Damon Stoudamire. Bobby Cremins led his team to the first ACC tournament victory in school history in 1985 and in 1990 he took Georgia Tech to the school's first Final Four appearance ever. Cremins retired from Georgia Tech in 2000 with the school's best winning percentage as a head coach. The Yellow Jackets returned to the Final Four in 2004 under Paul Hewitt and lost in the national title game, losing to UConn. Overall, the team has won 1,352 games and lost 1,226 games, a .524 win percentage.

James Brogan Ramsey is an American college baseball coach and former professional baseball outfielder. He is the outfield and hitting coach for the Georgia Institute of Technology. He played college baseball at Florida State University from 2009 to 2012 for head coach Mike Martin. The St. Louis Cardinals selected him in the first round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft.

Led by head coach Bobby Dodd, the Yellow Jackets went undefeated including a victory in the 1953 Sugar Bowl. Coach Bobby Dodd and the Yellow Jackets were awarded a split National Championship, winning the 1952 INS National Championship poll, sharing the Championship with the Michigan State Spartans. The team was selected national champion by Berryman, Billingsley, INS, Poling, and Sagarin (ELO-Chess).
