The 1908 Texas Longhorns football team was an American football team that represented the University of Texas (now known as the University of Texas at Austin) as an independent during the 1908 college football season. In their second year under head coach W. E. Metzenthin, the Longhorns compiled an overall record of 5–4. [1]
