The 1935 European Rugby League Championship was the first edition of the Rugby League European Championship, an rugby league tournament that took place in Europe. [1] The tournament was played from January - April 1935 and saw the three teams played in a single round-robin tournament.

Contents

At the end of the tournament, England won the title by point difference over France with Wales finishing last.

The 2023 Rugby League European Championship will be the 34th edition of the Rugby League European Championship, and the inaugural edition of the promotion and relegation era of the tournament after the cancellation of the planned first edition in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
