The 1937 Cork Junior Hurling Championship was the 40th staging of the Cork Junior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board.
On 28 November 1937, Sarsfields won the championship following a 5–05 to 5–02 defeat of Shanballymore in the final at Fermoy Sportsfield. [1] It remains their only championship title.
Valley Rovers GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the parish of Innishannon in County Cork, Ireland. In 2007, the club won its first ever county hurling championship when it won the Cork Junior B Hurling Championship. The club is part of the Carbery division of Cork. The Sam Maguire Cup which is presented to the All-Ireland winning football team each year is named after Dunmanway's most famous son, Sam Maguire who is buried in St. Mary's Graveyard.
Glen Rovers is a Cork-based Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Blackpool, Cork, Ireland. The club was founded in 1916 and is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. They were Cork senior hurling champions in 2015 and 2016, having won their first title in 26 years in 2015. They retained the championship in 2016, when they beat Erin's Own in the final. Only Blackrock have won more Cork senior hurling championships.

Carrigaline GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the town of Carrigaline in County Cork, Ireland. The club fields both Gaelic football and hurling teams in competitions organised by Cork County Board. The club is part of the Carrigdhoun division of Cork. They are a Senior Football club, and a Premier Intermediate Hurling club. Cork Inter-county player Nicholas Murphy plays his club football with Carrigaline. Despite competing in numerous county finals such as Intermediate football final of 2003 and Intermediate hurling of 2006, Carrigaline failed to capture a county title. This was until 12 October 2008 when they captured their first adult county after an Intermediate A Hurling win over Bandon. In 2009 they captured the football title, by beating Cill na Martra. In 2014 they secured their first top level county by defeating St. Finbarr's, in the Premier 1 Minor Football Final. In 2015 the club reached the Promised Land beating St Michael's in the Cork Premier Intermediate Football Championship Final, on a scoreline of 0–12 to 0-11.

The club was founded in 1887 and plays in the Duhallow division in Hurling competitions. The club is affiliated with Lyre Gaelic Football club from the same parish who won the 2010 and 2013 Duhallow Junior A Football Championship. Banteer won the 2006 Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship and lost to eventual winners Kilworth in the 2006 semi-final of Cork Junior Hurling Championship. The club has since contested in the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship with their latest triumph in 2017.
